Hoskinson Says Cardano Treasury Can Fund $100M+ Ec

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has argued that the network remains financially strong despite its recent decline in the cryptocurrency market rankings.

According to him, Cardano's on-chain treasury continues to generate enough funding to support the ecosystem's long-term growth.

Speaking during an interview on The Starting Block, Hoskinson acknowledged that Cardano's market cap has fallen to around $6 billion, pushing the cryptocurrency out of the top 10 by market value.

Nonetheless, he stressed that the network still has sufficient financial resources to fund more than $100 million in ecosystem development this year.

R. Kiyosaki reveals his decades-long strategy for wealth protectionhas revealed the wealth protection strategy he has followed for more than six decades, reaffirming his preference for precious metals and cryptocurrencies as concerns over rising U.S. debt and bond market instability intensify.

The Rich Dad Poor Dad author shared his approach in an X post on July 25, highlighting the rapid growth of U.S. government debt, which has climbed from about $9.5 trillion before the 2008 Global Financial Crisis to nearly $39 trillion today.Kiyosaki argued that the pace of debt accumulation and ongoing money creation are key reasons he avoids holding large cash savings.

Kiyosaki's latest comments are consistent with a theme he has repeated for years: inflation, excessive government borrowing, and currency debasement erode the purchasing power of cash over time.

This means that the EV maker's crypto position remains the same - 11,509 BTC, making it one of the largest publicly traded corporate holders of the primary cryptocurrency.

The Musk-led entity entered the Bitcoin market in early 2021, making a $1.5 billion purchase in one of the most influential corporate crypto investments ever announced. However, it later sold 10% of its holdings to test BTC's liquidity before disposing of 75% of its remaining position during the 2022 bear market. At the time, Musk said the firm needed to strengthen its cash position amid the growing economic uncertainty.

Since then, the company has halted any sales or purchases, leaving its stash untouched. Quarter after quarter, Tesla has reported the same 11,509 BTC on its balance sheet despite the cryptocurrency's rallies, corrections, new all-time highs, and significant volatility.
