The Engendro Velho farm, located in Paraná, Brazil, received a loan of nearly $20K using a herd of 10 cows as collateral, using decentralized technology to digitize the information of each cow.

The farmer received the Financial Rural Product Note (CPR-F) valued at nearly $100K from BMP, a direct credit society, and the deliverables (each cow) were assigned to Target FIDC, a fintech company that registered the transaction using each animal’s data.

While this kind of transaction is not new, the tokenization and monitoring of the cows enables farmers to get a better deal, as creditors can examine the status of the herd at any time, lowering the risks associated with such a loan.

Humberto Brenner, a director at Target FIDC, stressed that this element can lead to a cow reaching up to 2.5 times the price it would have in similar non-monitored agreements. “Monitoring eliminates that uncertainty,” he declared.

Spot cryptocurrency exchange-traded funds (ETFs) ended the week with net inflows across Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP, highlighting continued institutional interest in digital assets.

Among the four major products, Ethereum spot ETFs attracted the largest amount of fresh capital, bringing in $103.9 million. Bitcoin spot ETFs also remained positive, recording $33.79 million in net inflows during the same period.

If completed, the agreement would become one of the largest financing deals ever tied to the AI industry.The proposed guarantee would support OpenAI’s lease of a planned 10-gigawatt AI data center campus in southern Ohio. The massive facility is being developed by SoftBank’s energy subsidiary and is expected to play a key role in expanding AI infrastructure to meet surging demand for advanced computing power.The Wall Street Journal, citing sources familiar with the negotiations, reported that the entire project could eventually exceed $500 billion in total costs, including the Nvidia GPUs required to power the facilities. By backing the lease and construction financing, Nvidia would help developers obtain more favorable borrowing terms, easing concerns among lenders about OpenAI’s lack of an investment-grade credit rating.The report noted that the proposed guarantee would apply only to lease and construction financing and would not cover Nvidia chip purchases. However, Nvidia is also reportedly exploring a separate financing arrangement to support OpenAI’s acquisition of AI processors, a package that could reach roughly $350 billion.Construction is expected to proceed in phases, with the first stage targeting approximately 800 megawatts of power capacity by 2028. Shiba Inu Crypto becomes the best-performing crypto in the top 50 this weekend after surging by around 39%.

Shiba Inu recorded the highest daily spot inflow in months on Saturday.

Modest open interest signals strong spot positioning, while a spike in negative funding rates suggests short-term retracement expectations.

Shiba Inu held on to the position of the biggest gainer among the top 50 cryptocurrencies this weekend. This was courtesy of an unexpected bullish outburst that saw it rally nearly 39% from its lowest price on Friday to its highest on Sunday.

For context, Shiba Inu Crypto traded as low as $0.00000421 on Friday. However, it surged as high as $0.00000583 on Sunday morning, reclaiming levels last seen in May.

Despite this impressive rally, Shiba Inu crypto price retreated considerably, signaling heavy profit-taking. It exchanged hands at $0.00000512 at press time.

SHIB was still the biggest gainer among the top coins despite the retreat. Moreover, this profit-taking may have also been triggered by the fact that it was overbought at the time of writing, according to the RSI indicator.

Senators released new text for the Clarity Act, merging two versions and addressing for the first time what an ethics provision might look like. The bill isn't yet at the finish line though.

The narrative

We have a new draft of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, which merges the drafts advanced by the Senate Banking and Agriculture Committees. It also adds an ethics provision that would bar senior government officials from sponsoring or issuing their own cryptocurrencies in response to President Donald Trump.

The window for passage is tightening, and while a new draft is progress, the fact that we're still waiting to see if there's bipartisan agreement on a key provision means the timeline is getting very tight indeed.
