Crypto Market Jumps as Bitcoin and Ethereum Post Strong Gains
The crypto sector is witnessing dynamic changes after the persistent bear market. Hence, the crypto market capitalization has jumped by 2.89% to hit $2.43T. In addition to this, the 24-hour crypto volume has hit the $105.37B mark after a 7.89% increase. At the same time, the Crypto Fear & Greed Index has also surged to 31 points, while still standing within the “Fear” territory.
Bitcoin Surges by 3.22% and Ethereum Sees 4.45% Increase

Specifically, the flagship crypto asset, Bitcoin ($BTC), has seen a 3.22% increase over the past 24 hours. As a result, its current price is $71,583.08, while the market dominance accounts for 58.8%. Additionally, the top altcoin, Ethereum ($ETH), is now changing hands at $2,113.74, showing a 4.45% rise. In the meantime, the market dominance of $ETH sits at up to 10.5%.
Apart from that, Black Phoenix ($BPX), PEPE ($TRUMP), and PEPE AI ($PEPE) are the dominating assets on the list of leading crypto gainers. Particularly, $BPX has surged by a staggering 1928.70% to reach the price level of $0.09161. Following that, $TRUMP’s price is $0.0003180 after a 1097.09% increase. Subsequently, a 792.83% surge has placed $PEPE’s price at $0.001017.
Simultaneously, the DeFi TVL has spiked by 1.97% to touch $96.278B. Additionally, the top DeFi project in terms of TVL, Aave, has climbed by 3.42%, reaching $25.909B. Nonetheless, when it comes to 1-day TVL change, zkFox is leading the DeFi market, accounting for a 9293113% rise over the past twenty-four hours.

On the other hand, the NFT sales volume has dipped by 6.10%, claiming the $4,684,665 mark. Even then, the top-selling NFT collection, Flying Tulip PUT, has witnessed a notable 65.01% jump, attaining the $583,020 mark.

JPMorgan's Report Will Disappoint Gold Investors! "There's a Sharp Difference Between Bitcoin and Gold!"

Bitcoin ($BTC) and gold continue to move in opposite directions. In this context, JPMorgan has revealed the latest data between $BTC and gold and the sharp divergence between them.

US banking giant JPMorgan stated that $BTC and gold ETFs have seen opposing flows since the US-Iran war.

According to The Block, JPMorgan analysts have noted a significant contrast in Bitcoin and gold ETF flows since the start of the conflict in Iran.

JPMorgan analysts led by Nikolaos Panigirtzoglou stated in their latest report that SPDR Gold Shares (GLD), the largest gold ETF, has experienced outflows equivalent to approximately 2.7% of its holdings since the war. In contrast, BlackRock iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), the largest spot Bitcoin ETF, recorded inflows equivalent to approximately 1.5% of its holdings during the same period.

Analysts noted that this significant divergence stemmed from investors shifting their positions between the two assets.

"We are seeing investors rebalancing their positions between gold and Bitcoin."

Analysts also added that there are signs that Bitcoin's volatility is gradually decreasing as institutional investment increases and market liquidity improves.
