Strategy Founder Michael Saylor Unveiled His New Theory on Bitcoin

Strategy chairman Michael Saylor shared what he describes as a “digital credit theory,” a new financial approach based on Bitcoin (BTC).

According to Saylor, the model is based on creating a pool of appreciating capital through Bitcoin and issuing loans using these assets as collateral.

Saylor stated that the first step of the model is to create a capital pool that appreciates in value, and suggested using Bitcoin for this purpose. Once this capital pool is created, he explained, the company could issue loans that are overcollateralized by its equity base. He added that this loan structure could be provided through one of the company’s products, a financial instrument called STRC.

In the third phase of the model, Saylor stated that a portion of the increase in Bitcoin’s value could be converted into cash and used for dividend financing, adding that this could be done through direct sales or derivative instruments. He argued that company shares and derivative markets could also play a role in this process.

According to Saylor, this structure creates different risk and return profiles between loan investors and equity investors. Saylor argues that loan investors achieve more stable cash flow and relatively low volatility, while equity investors gain stronger performanc

Proxy Network Crushed: 369,000 Hacked Routers Taken Offline in Crypto Fraud Bust
Authorities pulled the plug on the Socksescort proxy empire, freezing $3.5 million in crypto and exposing a global router botnet.

U.S. and European authorities have dismantled Socksescort, a residential proxy network powered by AVRecon malware that quietly hijacked more than 369,000 devices across 163 countries. Operating since 2020, the service sold access to infected home routers, allowing criminals to disguise their IP addresses while carrying out cryptocurrency account takeovers, bank fraud, ransomware attacks and other schemes.

Victims reportedly lost millions, including $1 million from a New York crypto investor and $700,000 from a Pennsylvania business. During “Operation Lightning,” officials seized 34 domains, shut down 23 servers in seven countries, froze $3.5 million in cryptocurrency payments, and disconnected thousands of infected devices from the network. The crackdown involved the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), FBI, IRS Criminal Investigation, Europol, Eurojus,t and several European law enforcement agencies. Investigators say the service generated about $5.7 million for operators while exposing roughly 124,000 proxy users who relied on the botnet’s anonymity.

Authorities believe evidence from seized servers could lead to additional prosecutions. Officials also warned that compromised routers remain a weak point in global cybersecurity, urging owners to update firmware, secure devices, and replace outdated hardware. Experts say dismantling the network removes a key tool used to hide ransomware operations, DDoS attacks, and crypto-related fraud carried out through residential proxy infrastructure.

Ethereum Whales Keep Accumulating as Price Action Fails to Follow

The most significant accumulation stems from an unidentified entity, tracked by EyeOnChain under the wallet prefix “0x8E34.”

Since March 11, this wallet has systematically withdrawn 80,157 $ETH from exchanges. The massive position, valued at approximately $165.7 million at press time, was acquired at an average price of $2,078.89.

A major whale continues aggressively accumulating Ethereum, building a massive position over the past few days. Starting from March 11, the wallet 0x8E34dFb6b5aF9ae7bAF421f5C67E2ce2FA964170 has been consistently withdrawing $ETH from exchanges.

With $ETH currently changing hands near $2,068, the investor is already carrying a slight unrealized loss. This reinforces the probability that the position is a long-term strategic hold rather than a short-term trading maneuver.

Meanwhile, a second large-scale investor, identified as wallet “0x743d,” mirrored this behavior.

Lookonchain reported that the wallet deployed roughly $24.79 million in Tether ($USDT) to acquire 11,985 $ETH at an average price matching current market levels.
