ONDO crypto traders are betting big on leverage – Is $0.45 or $0.35 next?

ONDO flipped the $0.4 resistance as Futures activity outpaced Spot trading volume.

Ondo Finance [ONDO] is on the verge of clearing all July losses. The altcoin rebounded from a $0.37 slip, successfully held $0.4, and touched a local high of $0.41.

As of this writing, ONDO was trading around $0.406, after slightly rising by 5.6% on the daily charts. Over the same period, the altcoin’s trading volume surged by 55% to $123 million, indicating growing market participation. 
ONDO’s  price hike, although triggered by a shift in the broader market sentiment, has also seen traders show greater demand for leveraged bets. Trader Sarosh noted that ONDO’s Futures activity remains larger than zSpot. This suggests that traders are willing to take leveraged exposure.
CoinGlass data shows this gap in the market. The altcoin’s ONDO Futures Volume climbed 54% to $285 million, while the Spot volume rose by 67% to $64.6 million.
This marks a $218 million gap between Futures and Spot, indicating that the ONDO market is experiencing a high-risk appetite.

In this light, traders have deployed significant capital into opening new positions. In fact,  the altcoin’s derivatives volume surged 59% to $288 million while Open Interest rose 6% to $204 million.

Bank of Russia Ratifies Openness Of Crypto Ecosystem: ‘No Restrictions for Transferring Crypto Abroad’

The Bank of Russia has come to the defense of the recently passed cryptocurrency bill, which establishes clear distinctions between qualified and non-qualified investors, pushing lower purchasing limits for the former group.

On Friday, during a press conference following a Board of Directors’ meeting, Bank of Russia Governor Elvira Nabiullina ratified the need to establish this distinction, stressing that it was not limited to the cryptocurrency world and was a common element in regulation.

“Non-qualified investors have fewer opportunities because the government, through legislation, tries to protect them to avoid them embracing the risks that they don’t understand,” Nabiullina declared.

She also stressed these measures covered the crypto ecosystem, as digital assets can be seized from lawful owners abroad if they are suspected of having any links with Russia, and because of the crypto market’s volatility.

Bill No. 1194918-8, which is expected to become effective on September 1 alongside the long-awaited and recently confirmed rollout of the digital ruble, Russia’s central bank’s digital currency (CBDC), establishes a 300,000-ruble ($3,800) purchasing limit for non-qualified investors, while qualified investors enjoy limits ten times higher.

Nonetheless, Nabiullina highlighted the openness of the Russian crypto ecosystem, stressing that there were no limitations for repatriating and transferring digital assets abroad, just like in the current regulatory regime.

“Transfer of ordinary foreign currency to foreign accounts is not limited because that might be necessary in order to pay for health care services, for education,” Nabiullina said, but called on investors to be aware that when receiving these funds abroad, they would not have the protections of Rus

That placed XRPL second among tracked blockchain networks for net RWA inflows during the period. BNB Chain ranked first with about $3 billion, while Stellar followed XRPL with roughly $2.1 billion.

The increase lifted XRPL’s combined distributed and represented RWA value to about $4.38 billion on July 26. The RWA.xyz dashboard listed $323.21 million in distributed assets and $4.06 billion in represented assets. The network also held $995.12 million in stablecoins, taking its broader total above $5.37 billion when those tokens are included.
