30-Year Expert: "Capital Flowing into Artificial Intelligence Will Shift to Bitcoin'

Jordi Visser, a veteran of the macrofinance world, stated that the era of rapid 7-8 fold gains in the Al sector has stalled, and claimed that global capital and market dynamics will shift to Bitcoin and digital assets in the next major wave.

In a period where the growth rate of the Al rally has shifted gears due to capital expenditures (capex) and hardware bottlenecks, attention has once again turned to macroeconomic balances and the cryptocurrency market. Speaking on Anthony Pompliano's show, Jordi Visser, a macro investor with over 30 years of experience and founder of Al Macro Nexus / Al22 Research, argued that the "easy money" era in Al is over and that it's Bitcoin's turn in capital rotation.

Jordi Visser pointed out that the aggressive valuations seen in Al infrastructure investments and large language models (LLMs) have reached saturation point. Stating that the high interest rate environment and physical hardware limitations such as chip and memory shortages are putting pressure on company margins, Visser made the following assessment:

"The 'easy money' trading model, where massive returns of 7-8 times the initial investment were achieved through Al, has come to an end. This doesn't mean Al is dead; however, we've now entered a period of grueling and rational growth, typically around 30% annually. Capital is now seeking new avenues in terms of risk-return balance."

XRP Bulls Stunned by 2,205% Liquidation ImbalanceXRP bulls faced heavy losses on Saturday as leveraged long positions accounted for nearly $2 million of the $2.12 million in liquidations recorded over the past 24 hours.XRP bulls suffered significant liquidations on Saturday as the cryptocurrency continued to trade under pressure.Over the past 24 hours, total XRP-related liquidations reached $2.12 million, according to liquidation data from Coinglass, with long positions accounting for $1.99 million.

Short liquidations, meanwhile, totaled $127,430. The imbalance suggests that leveraged traders betting on further XRP gains have absorbed most of the recent losses.

The pressure was also visible over a shorter timeframe. During the past 12 hours, total liquidations reached $257,760, including $169,790 in long positions and $87,970 in shorts. The liquidation figures come as XRP's broader market activity weakens. The token is down 0.26% over the past 24 hours, while its market capitalization has declined 0.15% to approximately $68.2 billion. Trading volume has fallen 26.59% to $785.29 million, suggesting reduced activity across the market.

XRP currently has a total supply of approximately 99.98 billion tokens, with a maximum supply of 100 billion. About 62.53 billion XRP are in circulation, while the cryptocurrency has approximately 544,970 holders.

The $XDC price has spent months sliding from its 2025 peak of $0.1567 to around $0.0280, placing it close to a multi-year demand zone that has historically supported accumulation before major rallies. The lower edge of that demand area sits near $0.0228, leaving the token at a technically important point as the market searches for signs of stability.

Demand Zone Faces Another Important Test

Price action suggests consolidation may continue through the third quarter between roughly $0.0228 and $0.0292. That range has repeatedly acted as a demand area during previous market cycles, making it a level traders are watching closely.

While the chart has weakened over the past year, recent ecosystem developments suggest network activity hasn't stopped evolving.
