18 million HTX! Cryptocurrency analyst Dark Defender predicts XRP may reach a new all-time high, suggesting the recent downtrend may have ended. Despite the significant drop from the previous peak, the analyst points to three key technical indicators supporting the bullish outlook.

These indicators include the completion of the Wave C corrective pattern for XRP, a breakout from the descending triangle formation, and a bullish crossover on the relative strength index (RSI). Dark Defender's analysis, based on the Elliott Wave analysis pattern on a three-day chart, suggests XRP has likely bottomed out and is poised for a significant upward move.

The completion of Wave C, specifically the fifth sub-wave near $1.31, is seen as a decisive turning point. Furthermore, a breakout of the resistance line within the triangle pattern by XRP indicates a potential end to the consolidation.  The bullish RSI crossover further supports the idea of ​​a coming rally.

Dark Defender has identified several potential price targets for XRP, with the ultimate goal being a new all-time high. The projected price targets range from $1.66 to $2.58, with the most significant target being $5.85, which would represent a significant upside from the current price.

Ether.fi drops after 3.6M ETHFI whale dump – Will $0.40 support break?

Ether.fi whale dumped 3.6 million ETHFI for $1.5 million.

Ether.fi [ETHFI] has been in a steep downtrend since its rejection at $0.64 three weeks ago, falling to a low of $0.42.

At press time, ETHFI was trading below its MA ($0.44) and EMA ($0.45), underscoring strong bearish momentum. Amid this decline, investors, particularly whales,  have largely capitulated, exiting their positions quickly.

 Dark Defender's charts show the 50% and 61.8% Fibonacci retracement levels around $1.31 and $1.37 respectively, which he believes are the most likely areas for price to stabilize at at the time of writing before attempting further gains. He also sets the 261.8% extension level (approximately $2.5895) as a key threshold for several important technical parameters, further expanding the bullish target.

Data shows that the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 have risen for seven consecutive trading days, marking their longest winning streak since September 2025; the Stoxx Europe 600 recorded its largest single-day gain since March 2022 on Wednesday.

Louis Miller, head of Goldman Sachs' global customized equity basket business, pointed out in his latest report that gold mining stocks have clearly failed to keep up with this rebound, with their share prices diverging from strong earnings revisions. The report maintains its forecast of $5,400/ounce for gold by the end of 2026 and believes that mining companies have benefited from positive operating leverage, with free cash flow significantly improved.

Meanwhile, AI infrastructure-related trades generally rose by about 17% to 18%, with high-beta momentum portfolios recording their best two-day performance since the pandemic. Momentum is not yet overbought, and if fundamentals remain solid during the earnings season, this rally still has room to continue.  AI infrastructure has become a key catalyst for earnings season, with the information technology sector expected to see earnings growth as high as 44%.

Regarding hedging strategies, it is recommended to directly purchase downside protection "close to the source of risk." Traditional hedging tools have become less effective due to increased stock-bond correlation and a decline in the safe-haven value of the yen; VKO put options have become a low-cost alternative.
