XRP ETF activity is intensifying, and the numbers suggest institutional capital is beginning to engage more aggressively with the asset. A recent surge in trading volume across several XRP-linked exchange-traded funds has been highlighted by BankXRP, showing that activity across multiple issuers has expanded rapidly.

XRP ETF Trading Activity Surges Past $26 Million
Fresh trading data reveals a sharp increase in XRP ETF participation. According to figures shared by BankXRP, combined daily trading volume across XRP ETFs climbed to $26.02 million, marking a notable spike in activity across the sector.

The largest share of this trading volume was captured by Bitwise Asset Management, whose XRP ETF recorded $11.14 million in daily turnover. The firm therefore controlled the majority of the day’s trading activity, reinforcing its position as a dominant issuer in the developing XRP ETF market.

Behind Bitwise, Franklin Templeton posted $8.39 million in trading volume, securing the second-largest share of market participation among the ETF issuers tracked. 21Shares followed with $3.76 million, completing the top three contributors to the day’s total.

Together, these figures illustrate how institutional access to XRP is becoming more structured through regulated investment vehicles. Rather than concentrating activity within a single product, the distribution of trading volume across multiple asset managers points to a broader ecosystem forming around XRP-based ETFs.

This diversification across issuers is significant because it demonstrates that interest in XRP exposure is expanding beyond isolated market participants. Institutional investors appear to be utilizing several regulated products simultaneously, suggesting that demand for XRP exposure is scaling through traditional financial channels.

A widely followed analyst is warning that Bitcoin (BTC) may be mirroring a 2014 bear market pattern with its latest rally.The analyst pseudonymously known as Rekt Capital tells his 560,700 followers on X that Bitcoin could rally 10% from its current value before collapsing based on historical precedence.“What we are seeing now is more akin to the 2014 macro [descending] triangle, where price is consolidating beneath the triangle base (orange). If Bitcoin continues to mirror 2014 then price could still continue to consolidate a bit more, but the base of its current triangle (~$82,500) would be the ceiling for Bitcoin.” The analyst also says that if Bitcoin forms a new consolidation phase after correcting it would indicate a bear market bottom is forming based on the 2014 pattern.“Bitcoin tends to build major consolidation periods on breakdowns from macro triangles (orange boxes). In 2018 and 2022, these major consolidation periods developed at bear market bottoms. Whereas in 2014, Bitcoin built two such periods: just beneath the macro triangle it broke down from and then later at its respective bear market bottom. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley bet big on Bitcoin. 'Wall Street has literally arrived'

If Wall Street's embrace of crypto has happened in fits and starts, this week that all changed.

Not only are some of the bluest-blooded banks and financial institutions diving into digital assets, but they're iterating products for their more conservative customers.

Goldman Sachs, the $3.6 trillion asset management firm, finally filed a Bitcoin exchange-traded fund. Unlike BlackRock's spot Bitcoin ETF, which is officially the largest crypto ETF on the market, Goldman's product has a unique twist.

Namely, the fund rarely touches any actual Bitcoin.

Instead, the Goldman Sachs Bitcoin Premium Income ETF is comprised mostly of other spot Bitcoin ETFs. It then sells call options on those funds to offer investors a steady yield.

According to its official statement, hackers siphoned off approximately 1 billion rubles (around $13 million in crypto assets) by exploiting vulnerabilities in the platform’s infrastructure. The exchange has since paused operations and filed a formal complaint with law enforcement authorities.
In its public response, Grinex claimed the attack showed signs of “unfriendly state” involvement, suggesting it may have been conducted with the resources of foreign intelligence services. The company framed the incident not just as a security breach, but as part of a broader form of economic conflict.
Blockchain analysts and prior investigations have described Grinex—launched in 2025—as a successor to Garantex, a Moscow-based exchange previously sanctioned by the U.S. and European authorities for alleged involvement in illicit transactions and sanctions evasion.
The platform has reportedly facilitated trading in rubles, USDT, and the A7A5 stablecoin, which is believed to be tied to Russian financial infrastructure and used in sanctions-affected capital flows.
On-chain investigators noted that stolen funds were quickly converted into assets such as TRX and dispersed across multiple wallets, likely to reduce exposure to stablecoin freezes and improve obfuscation. Some forensic firms also suggest overlaps with related platforms and wallet structures, indicating a broader ecosystem rather than an isolated exploit.
Grinex, however, maintains that the attack involved “unprecedented capabilities” typically associated with state-level actors and argues it may be part of a coordinated effort targeting Russia-linked financial channels.
