All top meme coins are down by over 2.5% at the time of writing this article. For instance, DOGE has shed 2.75% of its value while SHIB and M are down by 3.63% and 5.40%, respectively. In fact, the collective market cap is down by 1.96% with an uptick of 20.64% in trading volume.

As for the individual performance, the frog-themed meme coin, PEPE, has declined by 2.33%, and so has the TRUMP token, with slight resistance, given that it is only down by 1.04%. All percentage changes have happened over the last 24 hours.

Notably, the highest weekly loss is for PIPPIN from the list of top 7 meme tokens. PIPPIN is down by 32.12%, followed by PEPE (-12.89%) and SHIB (-10.54%).

European Markets
European markets reportedly extended their losses to the last session. The scenario has been attributed to a deep sell-off amid the rising Middle East conflict. The pan-European STOXX has plunged by 1.3% to 615.72 points. The energy sector did climb marginally, but was balanced by a 2.6% fall each by sectors led by banks and the utilities index.

European Central Bank Chief Economist Philip Lane, in an interaction with the Financial Times, emphasized that the war could put pressure in inflation. The aspect is seemingly coming closer, given that the State of Hormuz could turn off at any point. Lane has also underlined that the growth of the euro zone could be impacted.

Within minutes of the first U.S.-Israeli missiles striking Tehran on Saturday morning, a different kind of exodus was already underway.

Crypto outflows from Nobitex, Iran’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, surged 700%, according to blockchain analytics firm Elliptic. The spike was capital flight, executed in real time, by Iranians racing to move money out of a country suddenly under full-scale military bombardment.

Nobitex processed $7.2 billion in crypto transactions in 2025 and serves more than 11 million users, Elliptic said. It allows Iranians to convert rials into crypto and withdraw to external wallets which is a direct pipeline around the country’s crippled banking system and the web of international sanctions choking it.

Elliptic’s initial tracing of the weekend’s outflows shows funds flowing to overseas exchanges that have historically received significant Iranian inflows, suggesting the crypto is being moved out.

Elliptic flagged similar spikes earlier this year: a massive outflow on January 9 coincided with widespread anti-regime protests and a government-imposed internet blackout. Even during that blackout, some outflows continued, raising questions about who retains access to Nobitex’s holdings when the platform’s website goes dark.

Two additional surges aligned with announcements of fresh U.S. sanctions on Iranian actors. Each time, crypto served as the escape hatch.

“The outflows potentially represent capital flight from Iran that bypasses the traditional banking system,” said Dr. Tom Robinson, Elliptic’s co-founder.

Universal Navigation Inc., the Brooklyn-based firm that operates Uniswap. after previously dismissing the plaintiffs’ federal securities claims. The decision effectively ends the case at the district court level.

The ruling is one of the first to specifically address whether developers and investors behind a decentralized protocol can be held liable under existing securities and state laws for tokens created and traded by third parties.

“Due to the Protocol’s decentralized nature, the identities of the Scam Token issuers are basically unknown and unknowable, leaving Plaintiffs with an identifiable injury but no identifiable defendant,” Failla wrote.

“Undaunted, they now sue the Uniswap Defendants and the VC Defendants, hoping that this Court might overlook the fact that the current state of cryptocurrency regulation leaves them without recourse, at least as to the specific claims alleged in this suit,” she added.

Irina Heaver, a UAE-based crypto lawyer, told CoinDesk “the dismissal signals that courts are beginning to engage more seriously with the realities of decentralization.”

By recognizing that a permissionless protocol governed by autonomous smart contracts is not the same as a centralized intermediary exercising control, the court drew an important distinction for DeFi, she explained.
