Analyst Explains How XRP Could Benefit From a Crypto analyst Jake Claver is again making bold predictions around $XRP through what he calls the “Domino Theory.” In his latest video, Claver explained how a chain reaction involving oil prices, Japan, stablecoins, banks, and crypto markets could eventually trigger a major liquidity crisis, with $XRP potentially becoming one of the biggest beneficiaries.
Domino 1: Oil Shock and Global Tension
According to Claver, the first domino starts with rising geopolitical tension involving Iran, Russia, China, and the Strait of Hormuz. He warned that any disruption to oil supply could push energy prices sharply higher and create fresh inflation pressure across global markets.

Japan is one of the biggest concerns in this scenario because it relies heavily on imported energy.

Domino 2: Japan’s Carry Trade Unwinds

Claver explained that investors have borrowed cheap Japanese yen for decades and invested that money into assets like stocks, bonds, Bitcoin, gold, and crypto.

If inflation forces the Bank of Japan to raise interest rates aggressively, those trades may quickly unwind. That would pull liquidity out of global markets and trigger heavy selling pressure across risk assets.

Crypto analyst Bee has forecasted a major price bottom for Bitcoin (BTC), the world’s largest digital currency. Despite its recent rally above $80,000, the expert still believes that BTC remains in a broader bearish market, likely viewing the latest price gains as a temporary bounce. While some analysts think that Bitcoin’s downtrend is over and others project a bottom around the $50,000 range, Bee expects BTC’s price to decline even lower before a sustained rally can begin.

Bitcoin Price Set To Bottom Around $42,000

In an X post on May 11, Bee said that Bitcoin is just one leg away from reaching its historical cycle bottom. The market expert shared a video chart analysis highlighting technical patterns and historical trends to support their bearish Bitcoin price outlook.

The analyst’s chart shows that Bitcoin has been forming multiple ascending channels within a broader descending channel since reaching a cycle peak above $126,200 in October 2025. After recording this all-time high, Btc crashed to $82,167, forming a lower low, where the first ascending channel began. Within this channel, the cryptocurrency traded sideways for months before rallying again to touch the upper boundary of the pattern at around $97,855.

After that lower high was reached, BTC began crashing again, but this time, the decline was even sharper and more severe. The cryptocurrency had fallen to $59,900 around February 2026, forming a lower low that many analysts still consider BTC’s final cycle bottom.

Bitcoin exchange supply falls to an 8-year low The supply of Bitcoin ($BTC) on all cryptocurrency exchanges has declined to an 8-year low, amid notable demand from conviction investors.

As of May 15, Bitcoin's supply on all crypto exchanges hovered around 5.623% of the asset's total supply, according to analytics from Santiment, analyzed by Finbold. Consequently, approximately 1,180,830 $BTC, valued at about $95.2 billion at press time, sits on exchanges.

The notable decline in $BTC supply on all crypto exchanges can be attributed to significant demand from conviction buyers. Furthermore, this group of investors has added $BTC worth $243 billion year-to-date, bringing their total to nearly 4 million coins, as Finbold reported.

The $XRP Ledger posted its strongest 24-hour activity since March after $XRP moved above $1.54 for the first time in two months, according to crypto data intelligence platform Santiment. Data showed 48,453 active $XRP wallets, the highest count since March 30. Network growth reached 3,317 new $XRP wallets, its highest level since March 19.

Santiment’s chart tracked $XRP price, daily active addresses, and network growth. Both on-chain measures rose with the price move. Active wallets showed immediate usage across the network. New wallet creation pointed to fresh participation. The platform linked much of the jump to price FOMO (fear of missing out), while noting that higher transaction activity can support longer-term price strength. Santiment Intelligence wrote:

“The $XRP Ledger just had its highest 24-hour period of: Active Addresses (48,453: highest since March 30) … Network Growth (3,317: highest since March 19).”
Stronger wallet activity adds context to $XRP’s recent price action. Daily active addresses show wallets interacting with the $XRP Ledger. Network growth captures new wallet creation. Together, the readings suggest a broader burst of participation around the latest move. The key question is whether activity remains elevated after the price surge fades.
