Bitcoin has retraced back to the $71,000 level, as on-chain data shows profit-taking behavior among investors has once again witnessed a spike.

Bitcoin Realized Profit Crossed $20M/Hour During Rally
In a new post on X, on-chain analytics firm Glassnode has talked about the latest trend in the Bitcoin Realized Profit, which is an indicator that measures, as its name suggests, the total amount of profit that BTC addresses/investors are realizing through their transactions.

Below is the chart shared by Glassnode that shows how the 24-hour simple moving average (SMA) of this Bitcoin metric has fluctuated over the last few months.

As is visible in the graph, the 24-hour SMA of the Bitcoin Realized Profit has seen a couple of spikes of a notable scale during the last few days. The spikes came as BTC recovered from its recent lows and broke back above the $73,000 level. Thus, it would appear that investors took the recovery opportunity to exit with profits.

During the spikes, profit-taking exceeded $20 million per hour. Since this investor is selling, BTC has retraced back below $71,000, indicating that the profit realization likely played a role in the rally topping out.

This is actually a pattern that has been witnessed a few times during the recent consolidation range already. “Every approach to the $70k–$ 80k band faces thin liquidity and profit-taking pressure, capping the bounce,” noted the analytics firm. Given that the latest rally has also been obstructed by profit-taking, it would appear that fresh liquidity capable of absorbing the selling pressure is still absent from the market.

That is a strong signal that the RWA narrative is still attracting serious investor attention, especially in projects that are trying to combine compliance, settlement rails, and blockchain infrastructure in one stack.

Another notable line item is Oh, which reportedly raised $7.5 million in a Series A led by Maven11 Capital, with support from L1D, Auros Global, Hashed, Maelstrom Fund, and Cadenza Ventures, while earlier backers such as Cyber Fund, Kosmos VC, and Tangent also joined. The project is building a Web3 AI platform and decentralized AI service tools, including OhChat, which places it in the fast-growing overlap between crypto, AI infrastructure, and consumer-facing AI products. In other words, this is the kind of funding story that shows investors are still willing to back AI-native crypto ideas when the product angle feels clear enough.

A new analysis from the crypto investment platform River Financial shows that at least 50 countries have expanded access to Bitcoin ($BTC) since 2020.

The firm compiled a dataset tracking government actions related to Bitcoin over the past six years. Overall, the data show that most regulatory changes have moved toward greater acceptance and integration rather than restrictions.

In fact, River’s broader research suggests that at least 50 countries have improved access to Bitcoin through regulatory measures since 2020, compared with only 4 that tightened restrictions.

One of the clearest indicators of growing acceptance is the rapid rise of institutional investment vehicles. According to River, 34 countries have approved Bitcoin exchange-traded products (ETPs), allowing investors to gain regulated exposure to the cryptocurrency.

Countries that currently offer Bitcoin ETFs include the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, and Hong Kong, among others. These investment products have increasingly served as a bridge between traditional finance and the digital asset ecosystem, particularly in developed markets.

Meanwhile, Russia adopted a different strategy. Instead of focusing primarily on investment products, the country legalized Bitcoin mining and permitted its use for international payments
