At 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time on April 14, the price of Bitcoin stood near $74,315, up from about $71,189 a day earlier but still roughly $10,250 lower than a year ago, illustrating how volatility persists even as $BTC trades in the mid‑$70,000s.
