I was looking at  $SOL  stats and honestly… it’s kind of crazy. 25 billion transactions in one quarter. That’s not just leading — that’s completely dominating. Everyone else isn’t even close. And then you see stuff like tokenized stocks picking up, new activity, fresh volume… it feels like Solana is doing everything right behind the scenes.

But then you look at the price… and it’s just sitting there around $83 like nothing happened. That disconnect always gets me.

It reminds me of a restaurant that’s always full, people lining up outside… but somehow the owner still says “yeah, business is okay”  Like… how?

The thing is, activity doesn’t always translate into price immediately. Right now, it feels like the network is working overtime, but money isn’t fully flowing into SOL itself yet.

Momentum is still kinda “meh.” Not weak, not strong — just… there. And I’ve seen this setup before. Sometimes price lags fundamentals… until suddenly it doesn’t. So yeah — Solana looks strong on paper. But the market? Still waiting for proof

A divergence emerged on Ethereum [ETH], where stablecoin liquidity remained present, yet network activity declined during Bitcoin’s [BTC] consolidation phase.

At press time, Tether [$USDT] Active Addresses fell to 202,300, while USD Coin [$USDC] dropped to 109,300, marking the lowest levels since mid-December. Meanwhile, this decline reflected reduced transactional demand on Ethereum, as users held stablecoins without deploying them.

This behavior signals caution, where capital stays idle despite being available, aligning with a prolonged range-bound structure below $75,000. However, as Bitcoin gradually approaches this level, conditions begin to shift.

If momentum strengthens, Ethereum activity may recover, allowing sidelined liquidity to re-enter, increasing volatility; otherwise, continued inactivity may extend consolidation across the market.

Ethereum usage grows despite activity slowdown

However, a deeper structural layer began to emerge on Ethereum, where long-term usage trends contrasted sharply with recent activity declines.

While current engagement weakened, quarterly stablecoin transfer volume continued to rise, now breaching the $8.5 trillion mark, reflecting sustained settlement demand.

In a latest development, UK-based Bitcoin treasury firm Stack BTC, led by former Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng, has confirmed a new acquisition linked to Nigel Farage.

The company purchased 37 BTC, worth approximately £2 million, on behalf of Farage. With this transaction, Stack BTC’s total holdings have increased to 68 BTC.

In a post on X, the firm described Farage as the first sitting MP and UK party leader to have publicly disclosed acquiring Bitcoin.

This development follows an earlier investment made by Farage roughly one month ago, when he reportedly invested £215,000 in Stack BTC through his media company, Thorn In The Side Ltd. That investment gave him an estimated 6.3% stake in the firm.

In a parallel move, Capital B has further expanded its Bitcoin treasury, acquiring 37 BTC for approximately €2.3 million.

This latest purchase brings the company’s total holdings to 2,925 BTC, reinforcing its position as one of Europe’s largest corporate Bitcoin treasuries. The firm, listed on Euronext Growth in France, continues to prioritize Bitcoin accumulation as a core strategy.

Additionally, Capital B reported a year-to-date Bitcoin yield of 1.25% and a net gain of 35.3 BTC.

The acquisition was funded through a combination of convertible bond conversions and new share issuance. It includes participation from Blockstream Capital Partners and UTXO Management.

The company’s average purchase price now stands at €92,096 per Bitcoin, bringing its total investment cost to €269.4 million.
