$XRP recent price weakness may be masking a notable development within the ecosystem.

Vet, a widely followed XRPL validator, shared this perspective during a recent podcast appearance with Krippenreiter.

While $XRP’s price momentum has failed to impress, underlying network activity and development suggest that its fundamental value is quietly strengthening.

Price Driven by Macro, Not Ecosystem Progress

Addressing the disconnect, Vet explained that $XRP’s price action is largely influenced by macroeconomic conditions rather than developments within the $XRP ecosystem itself.

He noted that price movements remain outside the control of builders and contributors as external market forces continue to dictate short-term trends across crypto markets. In contrast, what the community can control is the steady improvement of the network’s utility and infrastructure.

According to him, this creates a divergence where price may lag even as the overall value of the network increases.

Meanwhile, Vet emphasized that the current slower market environment is being used productively to strengthen the XRPL’s core foundation.

Ethereum price is trading at $2,350-$2,351 after posting back-to-back daily gains of 4.76% and 6.32% in recent sessions, but the chart is telling a more complicated story.

Distribution pressure from whale cohorts sitting near their average cost basis is creating a ceiling that bulls haven't cracked yet. One resistance level, in particular, is doing most of the heavy lifting right now.

Solana validator logs 32 delinquencies, foundation still claims ‘100% uptime’



The Solana Foundation is advertising “100% network uptime since March 2023” but delegators behind the Harmonic Major validator have had an entirely different experience.

Their node has gone delinquent 32 times in the past 30 days on a stake of 625,000 $SOL, worth over $50 million, according to validator tracker Slashr.

Slashr puts that at 12 times the network average over that time period.

Unlike certain proof-of-stake blockchains, Solana doesn’t slash validators for going offline, so no principal is at risk. Instead, delinquent delegators simply miss the vote credits, inflation rewards, and MEV share they would have earned.

The validator tracking service estimates the opportunity cost at roughly $413 per hour while the node is dark.

Harmonic, the company operating that validator, hasn’t publicly addressed a single incident.

How can Solana claim uptime yet still have delinquencies?

A Solana validator is flagged delinquent once its root slot drifts far enough behind the supermajority that it’s effectively stopped voting.

Penalties on delinquent validators are entirely economic. Delegators forfeit the rewards they would have earned during the downtime but delinquencies don’t burn a stake nor force an exit from the validation system.

That distinction is the one Solana’s uptime marketing doesn’t make.

Although cluster-level uptime of the entire Solana blockchain correctly reveals 100% timeliness of the network producing blocks, the actual experience of someone staking $SOL with a validator or staking-as-a-service provider within a particular cluster can differ dramatically from that headline.

Validator-level uptime measures whether your specific node was voting.

The two numbers can diverge dramatically, and in Harmonic’s case, they have.

XRPL Gets Massive Adoption Boost As Crypto Wallet Provider Exodus Teams Up With Ripple in Strategic Push

Exodus Movement has announced an expansion of its support for the XRP Ledger (XRPL). The long-time self-custodial crypto wallet provider announced the update in collaboration with Ripple.
Exodus is deploying a deep native integration of the XRPL ecosystem, giving its millions of users direct access to advanced tools and newly added stablecoin support.

The rollout equips users with enhanced in-wallet tools to send and manage XRP directly inside Exodus, while also paving the way for upcoming support of the Ripple USD (RLUSD) stablecoin through its partnership with Ripple, per a Thursday press release.

Users now gain greater flexibility to store, send, and swap dollar-pegged value on the XRPL— all while retaining full control of their private keys and avoiding reliance on centralized exchanges.

“Expanding XRPL support means more ways to use XRP without sacrificing self-custody or the simplicity of the Exodus experience,” Exodus CEO JP Richardson postulated in a statement. “XRP is already a top asset in our wallet, and partnering with Ripple is a natural next step in making it easier to use every day.” 

RLUSD is a highly-regulated, enterprise-focused U.S. dollar-pegged stablecoin designed with transparency and real-world utility in mind. Since going live in late 2024, its market capitalization has soared to around $1.48 billion, according to CoinMarketCap data.

Stablecoin Product Lead at Ripple, Lauren Berta, said that open financial systems should empower users with greater control, adding that RLUSD enhances flexibility in how value is stored and moved.

Exodus has long offered support for XRP storage and transactions, during which the payments-focused token has organically become one of the platform’s most prominent assets.

In the past day, the protocol executed a token burn that reduced circulating supply by approximately 3%, or about 271.3 million JST tokens. At current valuations, this represents roughly $20.7 million removed from circulation, a significant contraction in market supply.

Despite this, price action weakened further.

In response, Justin Sun, founder of JUST, confirmed that the project’s treasury balance now exceeds $100 million. He described the burn as part of a quarterly reduction strategy, with additional burns expected in future cycles.

While this signals continued commitment to supply reduction, the immediate market reaction highlights how token burns alone do not guarantee bullish price movement.
