The 20-day average trading volume was weak in March and early April but has recently begun to climb.

The breakout above the $0.03 psychological resistance level, accompanied by increased trading volume, indicates strong market confidence.

The On-Balance Volume (OBV) has not risen significantly, as the increase in spot trading volume has only recently begun. The current bullish breakout is accompanied by the Relative Strength Index (RSI) surging to 75, entering overbought territory.

This could trigger a short-term pullback, but the overall structure remains bullish. Since December, $0.0169 and $0.031 have been key levels.

Monad achieved a bullish breakout at the daily chart level on February 14. Since then, the altcoin has continued to form higher lows, maintaining an uptrend.

After breaking above $0.0314, the next target will be the supply zone of $0.046–$0.048 just below the all-time high.

The steady uptrend in March means there has been insufficient time for long liquidation positions to accumulate. The nearest liquidity cluster on the downside is at $0.025, with a larger liquidity pool at $0.02–$0.0218.

There is a significant long liquidation vacuum in the range from $0.025 to the current market price of $0.035. Meanwhile, short liquidations up to $0.04 could fuel a short squeeze in the coming days.

The push to pass crypto legislation in the United States has picked up pace again, this time with rare alignment between policymakers and one of the crypto industry’s most influential voices.

A new statement from Brian Armstrong has added new weight to calls for Congress to move the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act, just as pressure is coming from Washington to bring the bill back into focus.

Treasury Steps In As Urgency Builds In Washington
One of the most consequential voices in American crypto just changed sides. Brian Armstrong, CEO of crypto exchange Coinbase, declared on social media that it is time to pass the Clarity Act, publicly endorsing the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act of 2025 in a post on X, the same legislation he had twice rejected previously.

The comment by Armstrong is in response to a forceful Wall Street Journal opinion piece by Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and is one of the first few signs that the legislative standoff over US crypto market structure may finally be reaching its end.

Discussions around the CLARITY Act increased after Scott Bessent publicly called on lawmakers to act, noting that the United States risks falling behind in shaping the future of digital finance without clear regulations. In the opinion piece, Bessent mentioned how Congress has already spent years attempting to define how digital assets should be treated and that the time for debate is running out.

The Treasury Secretary also noted the difference in other jurisdictions with clearer regulatory rules, such as Abu Dhabi and Singapore. Therefore, passing the CLARITY Act is important to bringing back blockchain developers and crypto entrepreneurs to the United States after much of the industry relocated to these countries.

“There is one way to give developers and entrepreneurs the comfort to reshore: durable law,” he said.

Institutions are in a crypto bull market as retail sits out: Exodus CEO

Financial institutions have “accelerated” their participation in crypto markets this year, while retail investors have pulled out, said Exodus CEO JP Richardson on Sunday.

“This might be the first cycle in crypto history where institutions are in a bull market, and retail doesn’t even know it,” the crypto executive said.

Richardson cited a few examples, such as the stablecoin market capitalization all-time high this year, Morgan Stanley’s Bitcoin ($BTC) ETF launch, Schwab starting a waitlist for spot Bitcoin trading, Franklin Templeton announcing a crypto division and Fannie Mae accepting Bitcoin-backed mortgages.

“In 2018 and 2022, institutions pulled out with retail. This time, they accelerated,” he said.

This shift could signal that crypto has evolved from volatile, retail-driven hype cycles to a more mature, institution-led market with steadier accumulation, deeper liquidity and reduced reliance on emotional spikes or panic selling.

While many Bitcoin investors are bullish as a result, the cryptocurrency analyst remains unconvinced, believing the current uptrend is actually only temporary.

Why is Bitcoin still trending downwards despite reaching $73,000?

Last week, Bitcoin prices surged by over 5%, reaching $73,000 before encountering resistance. This naturally attracted more attention. After weeks of negative sentiment, this rebound provided much-needed comfort to investors who had suffered significant losses.

Nevertheless, Captain Faibik doesn't believe this is something to celebrate, opting for a very conservative stance. Regarding the current uptrend, the cryptocurrency analyst believes it may eventually continue, predicting that prices could peak between $77,000 and $78,000 due to better liquidity in this price range.

 Aside from this liquidity rush, there seem to be no other signs that Bitcoin's price has entered a bull market. Even after the liquidity rush, the next step after the price increase is expected to be a decline, potentially triggering a pullback of up to 20%. As the analyst explained, this pullback could... cause the price to fall back into the $54,000 to $56,000 range.

If this trend does occur, and the price does indeed fall to such a low, it could mean that the digital asset will set a new cycle low. This would erase... the current cycle support that the price is currently holding around $60,000. Nevertheless, this cryptocurrency analyst points out that this could be an opportunity worth watching, stating that... the bears are actually still in control of the Bitcoin price.
