While short-term market weakness continues to worry investors, Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said that many traders are missing the bigger catch. Speaking in a recent podcast, Hoskinson urged the crypto community to stop focusing on daily price swings and instead pay attention to the massive long-term growth happening across the industry. Cardano, he noted, often benefits from a long-term focus over reacting to short-term market moves.

“The Long-Term We Win”

At the same time, he also shared new details about his conversations with SpaceX, revealing that discussions touched on Starlink and future communication technologies. Notably, Cardano’s community has also speculated on these advancements and their potential impacts.

Hoskinson made it clear that short-term price drops do not change his overall outlook on crypto, especially regarding Cardano development and adoption.

“Crypto is the opt out. Crypto is the exit. Crypto is the solution,” Hoskinson said.

According to him, market ups and downs are normal, but the broader trend remains firmly upward. He pointed out that the crypto industry already has around 550 million users worldwide and expects that number to grow to one billion by 2030. As a result, Cardano could see even greater adoption in the coming years.

Hoskinson also predicted that a good portion of global financial assets could eventually move on-chain, with Cardano potentially playing a significant role.

TIA price is finally showing signs of life after spending months trapped near historical lows. Since June 12, the token has climbed from its long-standing all-time low support region of $0.2952 to approximately $0.4096, marking a gain of nearly 40%. Even more notably, TIA added another 10% in today’s session as buyers continued stepping in.

After months of relentless selling and sideways consolidation, traders appear to be asking the same question: has the worst already passed?

Celestia Upgrade Changes The Narrative
Momentum began building shortly after Celestia announced that Commonware chains on Celestia are now possible.

According to the announcement, launching a Commonware chain on Celestia enables developers to achieve 10x faster blocks without the infrastructure burden and launch delays associated with recruiting a validator set. In a market constantly chasing scalability and efficiency, that kind of development rarely goes unnoticed.

Consequently, the update arrived at a time when TIA was already sitting on a major support zone, creating a combination of improving sentiment and technical stabilization.

Months Of Selling Finally Meet Support
Price action tells an interesting story. The $0.2952 region has acted as a crucial floor since February, absorbing repeated waves of selling pressure.

However, instead of breaking lower, TIA spent months consolidating around that level. That prolonged stabilization now appears to be translating into renewed demand.

Meanwhile, the recent rally suggests that sellers who dominated the market throughout much of the past year may be losing control, at least in the short term.

Ripple, the blockchain company behind the XRP Ledger, is on its way to regulatory approval in the European Union (EU) via licensing in Luxembourg.

The San Francisco, California-based firm received a preliminary green light for a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license from the country's Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) under the EU’s Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulation, Ripple said Tuesday.

A license would enable Ripple to offer its stablecoin payment systems to European companies and allow it to expand into broader crypto functions, according to the announcement.

MiCA allows companies that receive approval in one EU state to offer cryptocurrency services across the bloc.

The regime was one of the first comprehensive regulatory frameworks for cryptocurrency in a major market when it was voted into law in 2023, but there has been signs this year that the honeymoon period is coming to an end. The European Commission, the EU's executive branch, opened a consultation last month to assess if MiCA is still fit for purpose.

Among the concerns about MiCA's shortcomings is criticism over stablecoin rules, relating to a blanket ban on offering interest and reserve requirements that demand issuers hold as much as 60% of backing assets in cash deposits at commercial banks.
