To achieve this, the team plans to build new infrastructure and products that the ecosystem needs the most. No details were shared about these products as of press time. But the project added,

Bitcoin fell toward $63,000 on Tuesday, caught in a broad retreat from risk as investors pulled out of the technology stocks that have led markets all year.

The token traded around $63,640, down 0.9% over 24 hours and 3.3% on the week, per CoinDesk data, after touching about $65,076 on Monday and sliding through the session. The selling was marketwide. Ether fell 0.9% to $1,719 and is also down 3.3% on the week, XRP dropped 1.6% to $1.12 for a 9% weekly loss, solana lost 3.4% to $71 and dogecoin slid 6.6% over seven days.

Tron was the rare gainer, up 1.3% on the day and 4.6% on the week. Hyperliquid's HYPE fell 4.8% on the week.

The pressure came from outside crypto. A rotation out of this year's best-performing technology and chip shares sank global equities, with a gauge of Asian stocks falling more than 2% after a record close and South Korea's Kospi plunging more than 6% on fears that the rally in chipmakers had run too far.

This breakdown accelerated selling, dragging the price down to recent lows around $1.05. Despite a brief rebound, the recovery was limited, indicating that market participants remain cautious even as the price attempts to rally.

Technical indicators reveal that significant resistance areas remain above the current price. The 50-day moving average stands at $1.20, while the 100- and 200-day averages are positioned at $1.28 and $1.35 respectively, reflecting an ongoing advantage for sellers in the broader trend. For a more meaningful turnaround, analysts note that $XRP would need to reclaim these levels as new support zones.

Trading volume has shown a more balanced signal. There was a notable spike in volume during the initial breakdown, suggesting that much of the selling may have played out during that phase. As panicked selling has eased, volumes have gradually returned to normal, while the Relative Strength Index (RSI) is now attempting an upward move after exiting oversold territory.

While the downward momentum in $XRP has waned compared to the first wave of selling, this alone does not confirm a lasting trend reversal.

In the near term, investors are closely watching the $1.20 level. A sustained move above this threshold could open the door to a broader rebound toward $1.28, while failure to break higher keeps the risk of revisiting recent lows on

Bitcoin (BTC) is showing signs of another macro-driven breakdown as the yen carry trade risk that rattled global markets in August 2024 returns to focus.
Bitcoin fell near $62,800 on Tuesday, down approximayely 7% from its June highs as traders reacted to weakness across Asian markets and renewed concerns over the Japanese yen carry trade.

The pressure comes as USD/JPY trades near 161–162, close to levels that previously triggered heavy concern from Japanese authorities. Japan’s previous intervention, worth about 11.7 trillion yen, or roughly $72–73 billion, has largely failed to keep the yen stronger.
A sudden yen rebound can force investors to unwind yen-funded trades.

In simple terms, investors borrow cheap yen, sell it for dollars and buy higher-yielding assets, including equities, credit and other risk-sensitive assets. When the yen rises quickly, those trades become expensive to maintain, forcing traders to sell assets to raise cash and repay yen liabilities.

Bitcoin suffered from that same deleveraging pressure in August 2024.

At the time, Japan’s Nikkei had tumbled nearly 20%, the S&P 500 had fallen more than 5%, and Bitcoin had slid around 15% as the unwind of crowded trades hit global markets. Nikkei also suffered a brutal 12% one-day crash, its worst session since 1987.

The analysis also addressed various macroeconomic risks that are weighing on investor confidence. Ongoing geopolitical tensions between the US and Iran, market concerns surrounding Strategy’s STRC perpetual preferred stock issuance, and the stance of the new Federal Reserve chairman Kevin Warsh supporting tight monetary policies were cited as factors reducing risk appetite.

According to QCP Capital, for Bitcoin to break out of its long-standing sideways trading range and initiate a strong uptrend, positive macroeconomic developments and a strong, crypto-specific narrative need to emerge simultaneously.
