Solana [$SOL] rebounded above the $70 mark with price up by about 2% in the past 24 hours at press time, amidst a wider market recovery. Notably, the daily trading volume was up more than 20% to around $2.20 billion.

Solana's rally began late last week after a TD Sequential buy signal, lifting the price about 8% from $68 to $74. However, momentum now appears to be shifting on shorter timeframes.

As the price of Solana rises above $70, it encounters heavy resistance at $75, which could be a hurdle to this recovery.

Moreover, the TD Sequential has flashed sell on the 4-hour timeframe as it tests its resistance trendline. The resistance is coinciding with the 200 SMA, showing its a strong area of supply. As such, it could suggest that $SOL is about to undergo a minor pullback to $72 or even lower levels.

Bitcoin Cash [$BCH], despite a strong run this year, could face another major decline that drives the asset toward $100, according to new on-chain insight.

Data across the spot and perpetual markets point to building selling pressure, with key indicators flashing the risk of a deeper move lower.

The Aloha on-chain signal, an indicator that has marked the tops and bottoms of asset prices on multiple occasions, shows that neither target has been met for $BCH so far.

At press time, data from Alphractal places $BCH in the middle of that range, between its top and bottom. Joao Wedson, senior analyst and founder of Alphractal, said he would not be surprised by a further $BCH drop despite the asset’s record.

“Even with this impressive track record, I would not be surprised if $BCH still falls further.”

If a drop materializes, the signal indicates the price would likely find a floor near $100—the level that typically marks its bottom—roughly 50% below where it trades now.

Wedson added that nothing guarantees the decline, noting that “no market ever gives certainty.” However, AMBCrypto reviewed the wider spot and derivatives data to gauge how that move could play out.

CryptoQuant data shows near-neutral sentiment across $BCH’s spot and perpetual markets, though two indicators stand out and point to a rising risk of a bearish move. The average whale order size shows large holders firmly in control, averaging 229.96 $BCH, about $44,688 at press time.

That control raises concern because the market’s funding rate has flipped to a negative 0.0028%, suggesting most perpetual-market capital sits in short positions.

The spot cumulative volume delta tells a similar story, with selling volume outpacing buying. The spot CVD shows taker sellers dominating the market, a trend that has held for weeks alongside $BCH’s decline.

Bitcoin, Ethereum, and $XRP are showing resilience at the start of the week after experiencing notable declines during the previous trading period.

Bitcoin fell nearly 4% last week, while Ethereum and $XRP dropped approximately 2% and 6%, respectively.

Despite the weakness, all three assets have stabilized, with Bitcoin trading above $64,000, Ethereum holding the critical $1,700 support level, and $XRP consolidating near $1.13.

For Bitcoin, traders are closely watching technical indicators for clues about whether the recent recovery can develop into a broader rebound.

Bitcoin remains below major resistance levels Bitcoin is currently trading around $64,000, but the broader technical outlook remains cautious. $BTC continues to trade below its key moving averages, 50-day EMA: approximately $69,106, 100-day EMA: approximately $72,123, and 200-day EMA: approximately $77,748.

The CFTC asked the public to weigh in on running standard futures around the clock and on listing perpetual contracts tied to physically delivered energy commodities such as crude oil. The request opens the door to importing the crypto-native perpetual design into the oil and gas derivatives markets.

The Commodity Futures Trading Commission issued the request for comment Monday afternoon, organizing it around two questions. The first asks how standard futures, including energy futures, would function on a 24/7 schedule with no change to their fixed expiration, delivery, or settlement terms. The second asks what happens when perpetual contracts reference physically delivered or storable energy commodities. Comments are due within 30 days of the notice's publication in the Federal Register, per the CFTC release.

The filing is a request for comment, a procedural step that gathers input ahead of any rulemaking rather than a proposed rule with regulatory text attached. The agency says it "intends to use the information and comments received to inform its understanding of these developments."

Selig's Innovation Pledge

Chairman Michael Selig framed the move as supporting new market designs without loosening guardrails. "As registered entities extend trading hours and introduce new contract designs, a clear, target="__blank" rel="noopener noreferrer ">said in the release. He added that the request "reflects the Commission's commitment to supporting responsible innovation, while preserving the protections against manipulation and market disruption that participants and the public rely on."

Selig echoed the framing on his own account, calling the request a reflection of the agency's pledge to back "responsible innovation" while preserving anti-manipulation protections, in a post quote-tweeting the CFTC announcement.

The Spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have been experiencing a prolonged period of negative performance.

Galaxy Research reports that net outflows of $6.35 billion over the past 30 days have caused U.S. spot Bitcoin [BTC] ETFs to record their worst monthly performance since their inception.

This number is the highest of all 582 rolling 30-day periods that the firm tracks, highlighting a notable exodus of institutional capital from Bitcoin investment products.

If the trend continues, such prolonged outflows could lessen the short-term demand support for Bitcoin prices. Needless to say, these outflows usually indicate waning investor sentiment, profit-taking, or a more general shift toward risk-off positioning.

During these 30 days, BlackRock’s IBIT experienced the biggest outflows, totaling $4.51 billion, making it the loser of the month. Morgan Stanley’s MSBT, on the other hand, saw $1.25 billion in inflows after winning in these 30 days.

While this happened, Bitcoin’s price dropped from about $76K in early May to $64K at the time of publication.

As can be seen, it’s the Bitcoin price that triggered the outflows, which caused the price to move from a bullish to a bearish zone.

On the other hand, the Ripple [$XRP] ETF and Hype [$HYPE] ETF both recorded inflows during the past month.However, in the face of this lackluster momentum, Franklin Templeton submitted a proposal to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to establish a new ETF that would turn stock dividends into exposure to Bitcoin.

According to a recent filing, the Franklin US Equity Bitcoin DRIP Index ETF is the proposed product that aims to replicate the VettaFi US Large-Cap 500 Bitcoin DRIP Index.

According to HIVE, the project centered on neural network pretraining research conducted by Columbia’s Department of Industrial Engineering and Operations Research. The team used HIVE GPU resources in Asunción while running iterative training experiments from New York.

The company framed the work as a “proof of concept” for intercontinental AI training, where researchers can run training jobs on geographically separated hardware. HIVE also said the research utilized code optimizations developed by Columbia to evaluate performance characteristics relevant to training workflows.

HIVE reported that, after normalization for each platform’s raw hardware performance, its A40 GPUs delivered training results comparable to newer-generation H100 GPUs in the targeted use case. The company described performance evaluation in terms of measured throughput and latency, along with tests for serving throughput and latency for a model configuration the team referenced as up to 1.4 billion parameters.

Based on the report, monthly active users reached an all-time high of 13.2 million, up 53.5% from the previous quarter and nearly 86% compared to a year ago. Whereas, the transaction count hit a record 200.4 million, while network throughput climbed to 25.78 transactions per second.

At the same time, Ethereum layer-1 fees dropped to $39.9 million, down nearly 48% quarter-over-quarter. The decline came as network upgrades made transactions cheaper and increased data capacity.

In simple terms, more people are using Ethereum while paying less to transact.
