NeoPod to host second AMA with community builder Aziz of NeoRedPillNeoPod, Neo’s community ambassador program, will host its second AMA session on Saturday, July 6, with grassroots community builder Aziz. The text-based AMA will run at 6:00 p.m. (UTC) in the #Proposal-Questions-AMA channel of the NeoPod Discord server.

Aziz is an independent community member who is best known as the builder behind NeoRedPill, a Matrix-inspired memecoin on the Neo N3 blockchain, and NeoUltimateShop, a web store for Neo-related merchandise. Aziz has been involved in Neo since 2017.

The session follows NeoPod’s first AMA on June 10, which featured NNT writer and editor Dylan Grabowski discussing governance and ecosystem strategy. NeoPod relaunched as “NeoPod 2.0” earlier this year, opening a dedicated Discord server on April 1 as the first step toward the refreshed program.

NeoRedPill
NeoRedPill is a community-led memecoin, a token whose value is driven primarily by community interest rather than an underlying product. It launched in January 2025 as a NEP-17 token on Neo N3 with an initial distribution across 66 wallets. It has since grown into an active community that hosts regular events.

The token trades on Flamingo Finance, through an NRP/FUSD pairing that has been its only listed pair since launch. In a recent step beyond that single decentralized market, the project signed its first centralized exchange listing agreement with BiFinance, with NRP indicated to go live on the exchange on July 1. As part of that listing, the NeoRedPill team assisted BiFinance with the technical work to support Neo N3, which could ease future listings of other Neo tokens on the exchange

Secret Network bridge exploited for $4.7M with ‘infinite mint’ bugAn attacker has used an “infinite mint” bug in a vulnerable smart contract on the Secret Network to create unbacked, wrapped versions of Axelar-wrapped assets, resulting in a $4.67 million exploit.

The exploit happened on June 10 but was discovered a week later on June 17, after a failed cross-chain transaction caused by an “insufficient funds” error in the drained account was detected, blockchain research firm Common Prefix reported on Friday.

The attacker redeemed the Axelar-wrapped assets (saTokens) back over legitimate channels to drain the real Axelar-wrapped assets held in escrow because the smart contract did not verify the source of the inbound transfer before minting, so “deposits forged over an attacker-controlled channel minted genuine saTokens with no assets backing them,” Common Prefix said.

It is the latest in a series of crypto protocol hacks and exploits this month, which now number at least 22, according to DeFiLlama. The Secret Network was one of the largest, behind the Humanity Protocol and Syscoin Bridge, which lost $32 million and $8 million, respectively, earlier this month.

The Secret Network is a privacy-focused, layer-1 blockchain built on the Cosmos ecosystem, and Axelar is a decentralized interoperability network that connects different blockchain ecosystems.

The Axelar-wrapped assets minted without backing in the exploit included saUSDT, saUSDC, saDAI, saWETH, saWBTC, saWBNB and sawstETH.

The attacker moved the exploited assets to the Ethereum blockchain and converted them to Ether (ETH). They then split the haul between around 30 wallets, eventually depositing the funds into exchanges including KuCoin, ChangeNow, and HitBTC, according to Common Prefix.

The index has fluctuated significantly over the past year, swinging from extreme greed to extreme fear. A reading of 21 is notably low but not unprecedented. During previous market corrections, the index has dipped into single digits, indicating panic selling. The current level, while signaling caution, does not yet reflect the same level of distress seen in those past events.

Morgan Stanley Updates ETH and SOL ETF View, Flags Record-Low Fees

Morgan Stanley has amended its filings for spot Ether and spot Solana exchange-traded funds, setting fees it says are designed to be the lowest available in the US market for comparable products. The updates—made via amended Form S-1 statements—signal the firm is continuing to move toward an SEC decision that would allow the funds to begin trading.

According to the SEC filings lodged Thursday, Morgan Stanley plans to charge a fee of 0.14% for each ETF. If approved, the funds would expand Morgan Stanley’s presence in the fast-growing US spot crypto ETF lineup.
