Shiba Inu is still struggling on the price chart, but on-chain data suggests that investors may be quietly accumulating the asset despite the broader market weakness. One of the most notable developments is the emergence of strongly positive exchange netflows, with more than 50 billion $SHIB effectively leaving exchanges over the last 24 hours.

According to recent metrics, exchange inflows reached roughly 205.6 billion $SHIB, while exchange outflows climbed to approximately 256.5 billion $SHIB.

This creates a netflow of around -50.8 billion $SHIB, meaning significantly more tokens were withdrawn from exchanges than deposited. In crypto markets, persistent negative netflows are generally considered bullish because they indicate investors are moving assets into private wallets rather than preparing them for sale.

Charles Hoskinson has returned with a plan to repair Cardano’s stalled governance system. The market is still unconvinced, as ADA price remains near $0.16, down 35% in a month. 

The Cardano founder spent three videos in mid-June arguing that the network needs a new decision-making structure, a moderated Discord, and a voting bloc with enough power to pressure funding applicants into public accountability.

ADA holders have answered with the chart. The token remains near five-year lows after a steep monthly decline, even as Hoskinson says Cardano is approaching a decisive moment.

Cardano’s Governance Crisis Comes With a Price Tag

The backdrop is ugly. ADA has fallen roughly 32% over the past 30 days, while Cardano’s market value has slipped to about $6.3 billion.

The decline has arrived alongside deeper ecosystem stress. Analytics platform TapTools is winding down. Other Cardano builders have also stepped back. DRep fatigue has spread as governance votes become more contentious.

Hoskinson says the system has hit a bottleneck. By his count, Cardano faces more than 600 million ADA in funding requests against a 350 million ADA net change limit, with no agreed strategy to decide what should come first.

The failed treasury vote for a 2026 Cardano summit added to the tension. Several Delegated Representatives have also stepped back from active governance, feeding the view that Cardano’s new political system is already straining.

Solana’s network activity is showing a notable shift in June 2026: a sharp drop in memecoin launches on Pump.fun, the platform that became synonymous with Solana’s speculative boom, is cutting into the network’s fee revenue (live $SOL price on CoinGecko). The cooldown highlights just how much of Solana’s on-chain economy has leaned on memecoin speculation.

Why Pump.fun matters so much to Solana

Pump.fun is the platform that let anyone launch a memecoin on Solana in seconds, and it became a phenomenon. At its peak, it generated an enormous share of Solana’s daily transactions and a meaningful chunk of network fees, as traders churned in and out of thousands of new tokens.

That activity was a double-edged sword. It showcased Solana’s speed and low costs, proving the network could handle massive transaction volume. But it also meant a large part of Solana’s fee revenue and on-chain activity rested on one highly speculative use case. When the memecoin frenzy is hot, Solana’s metrics look incredible. When it cools, those same metrics deflate.
What the slowdown reveals

The current Pump.fun slowdown is doing exactly that. Fewer token launches mean fewer transactions, which means lower fee revenue for the network. It is a direct hit to one of the headline numbers that made Solana’s 2025 and early 2026 story so compelling.
