Exchange outflows continue to exceed inflows. XRP is trading near $1.13, below the $1.30 support level. Resistance is at $1.37 and $1.50, with $1.09 serving as key support.
On-chain participation for XRP has significantly declined over the past two weeks, with active addresses dropping from nearly 50,000 to approximately 25,000. AMBCrypto noted that this indicates reduced network activity, heightening concerns about demand strength in the market.

The decline in active addresses has approached half, indicating a significant reduction in users recently utilizing the XRP network. The article notes that this change occurred following the June sell-off, and XRP has yet to establish a stable rebound.
Unlike weak active addresses, XRP’s NVT ratio has dropped to 199.75, declining 15.29% intraday. This typically indicates improved transaction activity relative to valuation and a short-term rebound in network efficiency.

Spot fund flow data shows that outflows from exchanges continue to exceed inflows. In the latest statistics, inflows amounted to approximately $39.11 million, while outflows reached approximately $46.76 million, resulting in a still-negative net flow.

Amazon Web Services on Monday turned on AI traffic monetization inside AWS WAF, letting any site behind Amazon CloudFront charge AI agents per request in stablecoins through Coinbase's x402 protocol. It is the first time a hyperscale cloud has wired onchain settlement directly into its content-delivery edge.

The new capability is a first-party feature of AWS WAF Bot Control, available now at no extra charge for CloudFront customers, AWS announced on its news blog. Payment settlement and verification flow through Coinbase's x402 Facilitator, with publishers able to accept USDC on Base or Solana directly to a self-managed wallet. Stripe and Machine Payments Protocol support are listed as coming soon.

When a Monetize rule matches an incoming request, AWS WAF returns an HTTP 402 Payment Required response carrying a JSON price manifest with the per-page price, accepted networks, destination wallet and payment timeout. Any x402-compatible agent runtime signs the payment, the Facilitator verifies it onchain, and the content is served inside a single request cycle, with no new accounts, invoices or API keys.

The launch extends a Coinbase-Amazon thread that started in May with Bedrock AgentCore Payments, which wired x402 into AWS on the agent side. CloudFront now closes the loop on the publisher side. The underlying protocol spun out under the Linux Foundation in April with AWS as one of more than 20 founding members, and Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said last week the platform has already processed more than 160 million autonomous x402 transactions over the past year.

According to Van Epps, recent spending reductions by the Ethereum Foundation and the expiration of the Client Incentive Program have created a funding gap within Ethereum’s development ecosystem. Based on discussions with key contributors, he estimates that approximately $30 million in annual funding may be required to sustain critical protocol development and infrastructure work.

The warning comes during a period of significant organizational change within the Ethereum Foundation. Multiple departures from leadership and staff positions have raised questions about the foundation’s long-term strategy and resource allocation. Recent reports suggest that nearly twenty employees or executives have left the organization this year alone.

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has previously acknowledged that the foundation operates with limited resources compared to some competing blockchain ecosystems. He emphasized that the organization’s mission has evolved from aggressively expanding its scope to focusing on long-term sustainability and efficient use of remaining resources.

Recent treasury activity has attracted attention from the Ethereum community. The foundation unstaked tens of thousands of ETH and conducted several transactions involving its holdings, prompting discussions about how development efforts will be financed in the future. While the foundation has increasingly utilized staking rewards as a funding mechanism, questions remain about whether those resources will be sufficient to support Ethereum’s growing ecosystem.
