Uniswap [$UNI] staged an aggressive recovery after buyers returned across the market and pushed the token out of a prolonged period of weakness.

Over the last 24 hours, $UNI gained 22.41%, while its market capitalization climbed 22.36% to $2.19 billion. Trading activity strengthened even further, with volume surging 110.49% to more than $560 million.

Such a sharp increase suggested that traders had re-entered the market with conviction rather than reacting to a short-lived price fluctuation. The rally also arrived as several major altcoins posted gains, which helped improve sentiment across the broader market.

In a discussion with Coinpedia, crypto analyst Kripto Holder shared his latest assessment of Bitcoin, arguing that the market is currently going through a phase of liquidity gathering and leverage reduction rather than a clear accumulation period.

According to the analyst, the $65,000–$66,000 region should be viewed as an area where excess leverage is being flushed from the market. While Bitcoin holding above $65,000 as Open Interest declines is a constructive development, weak Spot CVD and a negative Coinbase Premium continue to point to a lack of strong spot buying activity.

“Bitcoin is currently telling me: the market is clearing, but the uptrend is not yet confirmed.”

The analyst believes Bitcoin still needs to reclaim the $67,000–$68,000 range and secure acceptance above $72,000 before a sustained bullish trend can be confirmed. Until then, he views the current price action as part of a broader market reset rather than the start of a new leg higher.

Kripto Holder also pointed to recent market activity, noting that Bitcoin wiped out billions of dollars in long liquidations during the latest correction. Following the sell-off, spot whales reportedly began accumulating around the $62,000 level, helping drive the asset back toward $67,000.

In addition, the analyst highlighted that roughly $8 billion in liquidation liquidity remains below current prices, down to $60,000. He suggested that a move toward higher liquidity zones could help improve market structure.


“A sharp wick to the $69,200 band today followed by a rapid pullback would be quite healthy for the market.”

According to the analyst, such a move would remove excess leverage and clear out traders who entered the market late due to FOMO, potentially creating a stronger foundation for the next major trend.

BitGo offers Europe’s crypto firms a MiCA-compliance lifeline as license deadline looms



As the deadline looms for crypto companies to obtain licenses in Europe, BitGo (BTGO) is offering firms an easier transition to Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) compliance, the listed technology firm said on Wednesday.

BitGo Europe, which is authorized by the German regulator BaFin, says its Crypto-as-a-Service platform provides crypto players across Europe an alternative way to navigate MiCA, rather than the burden of building a standalone regulated crypto operating stack from the ground up, according to a press release.

BitGo CEO Mike Belshi said that if a firm is running wallets and does not have a MiCA license, they can sign up with BitGo easily integrate their wallets into BitGo wallets, with the proviso that certain know-your-customer (KYC) work aligned with MiCA would have to be done.

“All of your clients can be onboarded and have sub-accounts inside of BitGo,” Belshi said in an interview. “Now, they are your clients: you help them with support, you help them with all of the products, you do all that stuff, we don't do any of that. But they are now in segregated safe storage that's MICA-compliant. You can now go about your business.”

Eligible businesses may also continue to evaluate or pursue their own MiCA-focused crypto asset service provider (CASP) licenses in parallel while integrating BitGo Europe’s infrastructure, BitGo said.

The final deadline for crypto firms to have transitioned to the MiCA regime is the end of this month, a regulatory reckoning that will force some firms to close down their businesses.
