BTC Prophet: 20-Day 380 Million HTX Challenge

The XRP Ledger has launched version 3.2.0, introducing several infrastructure upgrades, developer enhancements, and network fixes. The release also replaces the long-standing “rippled” name with “xrpld” across the ecosystem. Meanwhile, validators and node operators must update their systems to remain compatible with the latest network changes.

Xrp Ledger Rebrands Core Infrastructure

The XRP Ledger introduced version 3.2.0 as part of its ongoing network development efforts. The update arrived weeks after the release of version 3.1.3. As a result, the network now includes several operational and infrastructure improvements.

A key change involves the rebranding of the core server software. The network officially replaced the “rippled” name with “xrpld” through the XLS-0095 update. Consequently, the software now reflects the broader and independent identity of the XRP Ledger ecosystem.

The change affects multiple system components across the network. Configuration paths, database directories, server metadata, and version labels now use the new naming structure. Therefore, validators and node operators may need to modify scripts and install updated configurations.

Upgrade Introduces Security Fixes and Developer Enhancements

The latest release also introduces the “fixCleanup3_2_0” amendment to the XRP Ledger. This amendment consolidates several approved security-related improvements. In addition, it strengthens multiple ecosystem features already operating on the network.

The update addresses components linked to Single Asset Vaults and the Lending Protocol. It also covers permissioned decentralized exchanges, Multi-Purpose Tokens, and permissioned domains. As a result, the network improves consistency across these expanding functionalities.

Bitcoin DeFi Pivots to Institutions as Liquidity Shrinks, Rootstock Exec SaysBitcoin-based decentralized finance (DeFi) projects are narrowing their focus to institutional investors and long-term holders as a broad market liquidity contraction reshapes the sector, according to Richard Green, director of institutions and ecosystem at Rootstock Labs, the investment arm of the Bitcoin layer-2 network Rootstock ($RIF).

Market Contraction Reshapes DeFi Strategy
In an interview with The Block, Green explained that as significant funds have exited the DeFi market, core customer segments—including crypto-native traders and hedge funds—have substantially reduced their activity. The DeFi sector is currently shrinking due to a large-scale decrease in overall liquidity, forcing projects to adapt their strategies.

“The overall market has become smaller, but there is still sufficient liquidity and demand within specific areas,” Green said. As a result, Bitcoin DeFi projects are concentrating on groups with clear, sustained demand—such as institutions, long-term Bitcoin holders, and operators of specific yield strategies—rather than attempting to serve the entire market.

Data Confirms Broader DeFi Downturn
The shift comes amid a steep decline in the total value locked (TVL) across DeFi protocols. Data from The Block indicates that TVL has fallen from approximately $180 billion in October 2023 to around $70 billion today, representing a drop of more than 60% in roughly six months. This contraction has prompted a reevaluation of target audiences across the industry

A 14-Point Draft of the U.S.-Iran Agreement Has Allegedly Been Leaked—Here Are the Provisions


Saudi Arabia-based Al Arabiya television has published the terms of a 14-point memorandum of understanding reportedly prepared between Iran and the United States. The text reported by Al Arabiya contains more detailed provisions compared to the version shared by the Iran-based Mehr News Agency.

According to the first article of the agreement, Iran, the United States, and the allies of the parties to the current war agree to immediately and permanently end the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon. The parties also commit to refraining from any hostile actions against each other, and to avoid threats or the use of force.

Parties to Meet for 60 Days to Reach Final Agreement

The text states that Iran and the US will mutually respect each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and will not interfere in each other’s internal affairs. It also states that the parties will continue negotiations to reach a final agreement within a maximum of 60 days, a period that can be extended by mutual consent. This clause was not included in the version published in Iranian media.

According to the agreement, the US will immediately lift its naval blockade against Iran following the signing of the document. The goal is for Iran’s maritime transport capacity to return to pre-war levels within 30 days at the latest. The US also commits to withdrawing its military presence around Iran within 30 days of the final agreement being reached.

In return, Iran will take the necessary steps to restore commercial maritime transport between the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman to pre-war levels within 30 days. This process will include removing technical obstacles and neutralizing mines.
