She believes that the extreme crashes of 85% to 95% that were seen in Bitcoin's early years are now a thing of the past. As the market evolves and Bitcoin becomes more widely adopted, such deep drawdowns are less likely to happen again.

Currently, Bitcoin is trading below its all-time high, but the correction so far has been relatively moderate compared to historical bear markets. Analysts suggest that the maximum downside in this cycle could be around 50% to 70%, which would still be significant but far less severe than previous crashes.

Some predictions point to a possible bottom around $34,000, although many traders believe the strong support zone lies between $40,000 and $50,000. This range is considered a more realistic floor based on current market structure and investor behavior.

Historical data also suggests that April has often been a recovery month for Bitcoin during bearish phases. After a period of decline, the market tends to stabilize and show signs of reversal during this time.

Standard Chartered Sees Bitcoin Exploding To $500K By 2030

Ethereum could outpace Bitcoin by a wide margin over the next four years - at least according to one of the most bullish forecasts to come out of traditional banking. That is the view from Geoff Kendrick, Global Head of Digital Assets Research at Standard Chartered, who laid out the projection in a recent podcast appearance.

Ethereum's Potential Gain Towers Over Bitcoin's

While Bitcoin grabs the bigger headline number, the math actually favors Ethereum. Kendrick's base case puts Bitcoin at $500,000 by 2030 - roughly 7.5 times its current price of $66,400.

Ethereum, sitting at $2,034, would need to hit $40,000 to meet his target. That works out to about 20 times its current value. In other words, Ethereum holders would see nearly three times the relative return compared to Bitcoin investors, if the forecast holds.

Kendrick flagged the $ETH/$BTC ratio as one indicator to watch. That ratio currently sits at around 0.03. His outlook has it climbing to 0.04 in the near term, a signal that Ethereum would be gaining ground on Bitcoin in relative terms.

He also offered a more immediate checkpoint: if Bitcoin gets back to $100,000 by the end of 2026, Ethereum should be trading near $4,000. That would represent gains of roughly 50% for Bitcoin and 95% for Ethereum from where both assets currently stand

$ATOM, the native token of Cosmos, might be close to ending its prolonged bearish trend, one it has followed since 18 February 2025. In fact, thanks to a 5.25% price hike over the last 24 hours, $ATOM broke out of a narrow range, opening the door for a massive move on the charts.

$ATOM’s trading volume surged notably by 13.22% over the same period too. This suggested that market participants may be showing greater interest in $ATOM’s prevailing market trend.

Data further revealed that following its most recent gains $ATOM officially outperformed major cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), XRP, and Solana (SOL) over the aforementioned period.

Is another potential 15% jump in the offing?

On the daily chart, the near-term bias for $ATOM appeared bullish at press time. Especially after it broke out of a falling wedge pattern with a large green engulfing candle.

However, the price still needs to close a daily candle above the pattern to confirm the breakout. Otherwise, it may turn out to be a fakeout instead.

If $ATOM closes its daily candle above the $1.77-level, it could see a price jump of over 15% and may reach the next resistance at $1.98. A breakout above this resistance could trigger another 20% rally, potentially pushing the price towards the $2.40-level.

However, this bullish thesis could be invalidated if $ATOM’s price fails to close a daily candle above the $1.77-level.

At the time of writing, the technical indicator Average Directional Index (ADX) had fallen to 16.16, below the key threshold of 25. This hinted at weak momentum accompanying $ATOM’s price.

Investors and traders’ sentiment turns bullish!

A look at analytics platform Nansen also revealed that the top 100 addresses may have already anticipated a move on $ATOM’s price charts. Especially since they increased their holdings by 2.96% over the past few weeks

The proposed product, the Grayscale Bittensor Trust, is designed to hold Bittensor [TAO] directly and track its market price.
