DoubleZero, a network focused on speeding up blockchain data for traders, has launched a new platform called DoubleZero Edge that delivers faster real-time data from Solana, aiming to bring Wall Street-style infrastructure to crypto markets.

Bitcoin Fear & Greed Index Is Still Pointing At ‘Extreme Fear’
The “Fear & Greed Index” is an indicator created by Alternative that tells us about the average sentiment present among traders in the Bitcoin and wider cryptocurrency markets. The index takes into account for the data of the following five factors to determine the investor mentality: trading volume, market cap dominance, volatility, social media sentiment, and Google Trends.

To represent the market sentiment, the metric makes use of a numerical scale running from zero to hundred. All values on this scale that lie below 47 correspond to a net sentiment of fear, while those above 53 suggest the dominance of greed among investors. Naturally, the values lying between these two cutoffs imply a neutral mentality.

Besides these three main zones, there are also two ‘extreme’ regions called the extreme fear (25 and under) and extreme greed (above 75). Historically, these two have held significance for the market as they have been where major tops and bottoms have tended to form.

The relationship between prices and sentiment has been an inverse one, however, with tops appearing during extreme greed and bottoms alongside extreme fear.

13 Years Of Data Says Bitcoin Price Has Not Bottomed Yet, Analyst Explains The Trend


Bitcoin is now printing green candlesticks on the weekly and daily timeframes, and this raises the question of whether the worst has already passed or maybe the floor is still months away.

An interesting analysis of Bitcoin’s price action over a multi-year time span pushes back against the growing optimism, pointing to a pattern that has held for more than a decade and suggesting that time, not just price, may still be working against a confirmed bottom.

Every Bitcoin Bear Market Has Taken Over A Year To Bottom

Going back to 2013, Bitcoin’s bear market cycles have followed a consistent sequence when it comes to the one metric that matters most, which is time. Each Bitcoin bear cycle differed slightly in severity, but the time requirement it took for it to end was surprisingly consistent.

According to a technical chart noted by a crypto analyst that goes by the name Xremin, the bear market in 2024 stretched to around 426 days before a bottom formed. The 2017 cycle followed with roughly 363 days, while the bear market after 2021’s rally took about 376 days to complete.

The current cycle, however, is only about 190 days into its correction phase. This is, of course, taking Bitcoin’s peak above $126,000 in October 2025 as the starting point of the bear market correction. That places it at just over half the duration seen in previous cycles.

Bitcoin is already down about 43% from that all-time high. However, calling a bottom at this stage, according to the analyst, would mean assuming that Bitcoin has suddenly broken a 13-year pattern without any clear structural change to justify it.

Bitcoin rises past $76,000, aiming at major breakout as oil plunges on Iran cooldown



The price of bitcoin has again pushed above $76,000 alongside about a 10% plunge in the price of crude oil on an apparent reopening of the Strait of Hormuz.

"The passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire," said Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi in an X posting.

The news sent the price of WTI crude oil down nearly 10% to $85.90 per barrel, about its lowest price since shortly after the outbreak of the war in early March.

Alongside bitcoin has risen to $76,400, up 3 over the past 24 hours. U.S. stock index futures are higher by about 1% across the board.

Why the $76,000 area is important

Bitcoin was trading around the $76,000-$78,000 level in the days before the Feb. 5 crash that sent its price tumbling all the way back to $60,000. In recent days, BTC has risen above $76,000 on numerous occasions, only to be met with a wave of quick selling.

Technicians believe that a sustained break to around $77,000 could set the stage for a return to significantly higher levels.

Ethereum Price Analysis: ETH Breaks Above Descending Channel After 6% Daily Surge

Ethereum is trading around $2,460 as it holds near its highest levels since the February breakdown, with the broader crypto market continuing to recover. $ETH is now pressing against one of the most technically significant zones of the entire correction.

How the price behaves over the next several sessions will go a long way toward determining whether this rally has genuine legs or simply represents another failed attempt at trend reversal.

Ethereum Price Analysis: The Daily Chart

$ETH has broken slightly above the long-term descending channel’s upper boundary on the daily chart and is now testing the 100-day MA near and the horizontal $2.4k supply zone. This is a very important level that has stood firmly over the past couple of months. The RSI has also climbed into the high-50s and is trending upward. This indicates that momentum supports the breakout attempt and is not flashing an overextended signal yet.

The key test now is whether $ETH can convert this into a valid breakout above the $2.4k level and the 100-day moving average. The $2.8k zone above represents the next major supply corridor, with the declining 200-day MA (~$2.9k) located at its upper boundary.

A daily candle close above $2.4k would be the most bullish development in months, and could pave the way toward $2.8k. On the other hand, if the market fails to continue higher, a drop back inside the descending channel would be likely, which could then result in another decline toward the $1.8k critical support area.

The global crypto market cap surged by almost 3% over the last 24 hours. It currently hovers around $2.61 trillion. The digital assets market’s 24-hour trading volume spiked by 12% to hit $172 billion. This suggests that traders are speeding up their positions.

CoinGlass data shows that more than 164,835 traders were liquidated in the last 24 hours. The total liquidations went on to hit $747.81 million. However, the largest single wipeout came from a $BTC/USD trade worth $15.75 million on Hyperliquid.

Bitcoin rally triggers Short Squeeze?

Bears were seen bleeding as more than 78% of the liquidated positions turned out to be short bets. More than $585 million worth of short bets were liquidated in the period. Data shows that Bitcoin itself accounted for around $378 million of the total liquidations. Over 91% of the liquidated positions ($344 million) turned out to be short bets. This suggests that traders were hoping for Bitcoin price to remain low or fall, however, $BTC price jumped by more than 3% in the last 24 hours to peek $78,000.

Yet even as bears bleed, conviction hasn’t flipped. Funding rates for perpetual futures remain negative. This signals that leveraged traders are still betting against the rally. This bearish positioning has now persisted for roughly 46 consecutive days. This is reportedly one of the longest such stretches since the collapse of FTX in 2022.

The conversation around real-world assets, or RWAs, got another boost today after the RWA Foundation argued that tokenization is moving from theory to infrastructure. In a post on X, the group said trillions of dollars in value from stocks, real estate, private credit, bonds, collectibles and commodities are being rebuilt on faster and more efficient rails, with the market still “barely getting started.”

The message was simple but bold: crypto is no longer just adding RWAs on the margins, it is starting to absorb the plumbing of traditional finance itself. At the heart of the post was a familiar promise that has become harder to dismiss. Tokenization, RWA Foundation said, is replacing limited access with global access, T+2 settlement with near-instant settlement, opaque structures with onchain transparency, and illiquid markets with programmable liquidity.

According to data, the tokenized asset sector continues to expand, with distributed asset value rising to $29.92 billion, up 9.64% over the past 30 days. Represented asset value now stands at $357.47 billion, while total asset holders have climbed to 728,287, up 4.84% from a month ago. The broader stablecoin market also remains massive, with total stablecoin value at $302.62 billion and 244.39 million stablecoin holders, both posting modest monthly growth. Ethereum remains the largest venue by a wide margin, with $15.5 billion in tracked RWA value, according to the data.

What makes the latest commentary notable is not just its optimism, but its argument that there will not be one winner.
