A new wave of decentralized finance applications is proving that crypto is entering a more mature phase where real revenue matters more than hype. According to recent market data, three relatively young DeFi platforms distributed more than $100 million in revenue back to token holders within just 30 days.

The top-performing protocols included Hyperliquid, edgeX, and Pump.fun, all of which have rapidly gained traction despite being only a few years old. Together, these platforms generated massive fee income and rewarded their communities directly through buybacks, incentives, or revenue-sharing models.

This trend highlights a major shift in the crypto industry. Investors are increasingly focusing on protocols with sustainable business models and actual cash flow rather than speculative narratives alone. Many analysts believe revenue-sharing could become one of the most important drivers for DeFi adoption in the coming years.

Hyperliquid reportedly led the sector with more than $50 million returned to token holders, while edgeX and Pump.fun followed closely behind. The growth of these applications also reflects rising user activity in derivatives trading, memecoin ecosystems, and decentralized trading infrastructure.

Some market observers compare the current stage of DeFi to the early growth years of major internet companies, arguing that crypto applications are beginning to generate meaningful economic value instead of relying solely on token speculation.

As competition intensifies, more DeFi projects may adopt profit-sharing systems to attract long-term investors and strengthen community loyalty. The success of these younger platforms is also fueling optimism that the next generation of crypto applications could become significantly larger than previous market cycles.

new 110-page report from Project Eleven warns that more than $3 trillion in digital assets secured by elliptic curve cryptography could become vulnerable to quantum attacks within four to seven years.
The report says a “Q-Day” — when quantum computers can break widely used public-key cryptography — could arrive as early as 2030 and no later than 2033, threatening blockchains, banking, cloud systems and military communications.
Migrating global financial and digital infrastructure, including Bitcoin, to post-quantum cryptography could take a decade and is hampered less by technical limits than by the need for costly, highly coordinated action across users, institutions and networks.
