Gold prices gain on Iran optimism despite India import issues, silver producers see strong output in 2026 

Gold prices are benefiting from renewed optimism surrounding the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, while India's tax laws are complicating imports for the second-largest gold consumer, and silver output is up sharply from 2025 levels among major producers, according to precious metals analysts at Heraeus.

In their latest update, the analysts wrote that last week’s de-escalation talks between Iran and the United States helped to boost gold and equities as they drove oil prices lower.

Ethereum price today holds $2,334 as bulls still lack momentum proofFor now, Ethereum price today points to a market that has stabilized after earlier weakness, but the broader recovery still lacks clear momentum confirmation.

Main Scenario: Neutral on the Daily Chart

Ethereum is trading around $2,334.71, and the daily chart still leans neutral-to-bullish. Price sits above the 20-day and 50-day EMAs. That tells you buyers have managed to stabilize the market after the earlier weakness.

That said, $ETH remains well below the 200-day EMA, so the bigger recovery is incomplete. This is not a clean trend breakout yet. Instead, it is a market trying to build a base while momentum remains hesitant.

What matters now is the tug-of-war between improving structure and fading momentum. On the daily timeframe, Ethereum is holding in the upper half of its recent range. However, the MACD has softened, and price is pressing into nearby resistance rather than expanding cleanly.

In other words, the market is not breaking down, but it also has not earned a full bullish conviction call. As of 2025, that leaves the macro bias fairly clear: neutral, with a slight constructive tilt as long as $ETH keeps defending short-term moving averages.

Price is above the 20-day EMA at $2,316.62 and the 50-day EMA at $2,274.78, but still below the 200-day EMA at $2,628.00. That leaves Ethereum caught between short-term recovery and unfinished higher-timeframe damage.

The hourly chart does not fully confirm a fresh upside leg yet. $ETH is hovering just under the 20-hour EMA, almost on top of the pivot, and momentum on that timeframe has cooled. Moreover, the 15-minute chart is even more compressed, showing a market that is rotating rather than trending.

By leveraging self-sovereign AI agents, CoinFello is eliminating the need for clicks altogether and building a future where crypto users are no longer “operators,” but simply define their goals and sit back and watch it happen. And if he succeeds, it could mean the end of “DeFi” altogether.

1: You helped scale MetaMask to become the gateway for millions to explore DeFi. Now you’re building CoinFello, and you’re trying to replace the broken UI of crypto. How did your time overseeing operations at MetaMask convince you that autonomous agents are a better solution to trying to fix the UI, like others have attempted?

The truth is that the current user experience of using smart contracts was actually unintentional. The current paradigm of browser extensions and website dApps was meant for early Ethereum developers, not end-users. The website dApp introduced MANY problems: a bad user experience that was nearly impossible on mobile devices, and a phishing security nightmare. The website dApps are confusing to use, and they get hacked and point at malicious smart contracts, causing major fund loss incidents to become commonplace.

Still, traders are questioning whether the rally can continue if inflation remains elevated and financial conditions tighten again.

Earlier this year, oil market disruptions tied to Middle East tensions pushed inflation expectations higher and forced investors to reassess the timing of future Fed rate cuts. March data later confirmed that energy costs were feeding into broader consumer and producer prices across the U.S. economy.
