Grass is a DePIN protocol on Solana. The pitch is simple: you install the desktop app, leave it running, and the network routes your spare bandwidth to AI labs and enterprise clients pulling public web data for model training. Your contributions stack as Grass Points, which determine your $GRASS token cut. The project raised $4.5 million in seed funding from Polychain Capital and Tribe Capital. It has paying clients. According to MEXC blog reporting citing Blockworks, those clients include “major 7-figure” AI labs. This is not a project running on vibes alone.

Season 1 numbers put things in perspective. It became the most widely distributed airdrop in Solana history: 100 million $GRASS tokens to 2.8 million users across 190 countries. In October 2025, the team overhauled the

points model at Epoch 11. Rewards now split into Uptime Points (for staying connected) and Network Points (earned only when your bandwidth is actually used). Network Points pull from a fixed daily pool of 1,000,000, split pro-rata by real usage. The model shift is important: passive idling no longer cuts it the way it once did.The team confirmed Season 2 on the record. This is not a “might happen” situation. Grass Foundation documentation states that Airdrop 2 will go out through a new native in-dashboard wallet, with eligibility details published once that account-abstraction wallet infrastructure is live in H1 2026. The token allocation is 170 million $GRASS, nearly double Season 1.

The backing tells part of the story too. Polychain and Tribe do not write $4.5 million checks into bandwidth protocols without an exit thesis. Boris Revsin, CEO of Tribe Capital, said Grass runs with a “diabolical focus on product and revenue.” That quote is specific enough to mean something. Crypto pundit Bull Theory has alluded to a Russell 2000 signal, which has always triggered every major Bitcoin bull market. This signal is again said to have triggered, signaling that another major bull run may be on the horizon.

Russell 2000 Signal Points To Another Bitcoin Bull Market
In an X post, Bull Theory stated that the Russell 2000 just gave the same signal that has triggered every major Bitcoin bull market in the past. The pundit further revealed that this index has broken out after consolidating for 64 months, which is its longest base in over 20 years. This matters because of how a bull run has followed every breakout.

The pundit pointed to the fourth quarters of 2012, 2016, and 2020, when the Russell broke out, after which Bitcoin bull markets followed. Now, the Russell has broken out again after 64 months, which is 17 months longer than the consolidation prior to the three previous breakouts. Bull Theory explained that the Russell 2000 is a leading indicator of liquidity and risk appetite, as when small caps rally, it means that capital is flowing to risk-on assets such as crypto.

Bull Theory also noted that the length of this consolidation matters, as it means liquidity was constrained for an unusually long time. However, the breakout signals that conditions have materially changed. Furthermore, the pundit stated that the ISM Manufacturing PMI confirms liquidity expansion, as the Bitcoin cycle has historically begun 4 to 5 months after the PMI bottoms.

As such, Bull Theory believes that the small caps and the PMI are sending the same message that liquidity is rising and risk appetite is returning, which means that the setup for a new Bitcoin bull market is here. The pundit added that the upcoming bull run could be more powerful given the depth of the consolidation. He warned that past performance is never a guarantee of future results, but that the Russell 2000 has a strong track record of calling major shifts

US President Donald Trump announced on his social media platform that the two warring parties in Europe, Russia and Ukraine, have agreed to a three-day ceasefire.

Bitcoin’s price reacted to the news positively, but in a more modest manner.

“This Ceasefire will include a suspension of all kinetic activity, and also a prison swap of 1,000 prisoners from each Country. This request was made directly by me, and I very much appreciate its agreement by President Vladimir Putin and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy,” reads the Truth Social post.

Trump also expressed hopes that the ceasefire now will be the beginning of “the end of a very long, deadly, and hard-fought war.” He added that both parties have opened talks in an attempt to end the conflict, which he described as “the biggest since World War II.”

Bitcoin tends to react well to ceasefire news in the past month or so. The asset had dipped to $79,100 yesterday after it was rejected at $83,000 in the middle of the week, but jumped by over a grand to well above $80,000 as of now.

However, this $1,000 rally isn’t as impressive as its move after the ceasefire between the US and Iran. At the time, the cryptocurrency traded at around $68,000 before it shot up to $73,000 in minutes.

Weeks later, bitcoin registered another notable price pump after the ceasefire was extended, and most altcoins followed suit. Today, very few larger-cap alts have marked substantial gains, such as SOL (5.5%) and ZEC (10%).
