On the other hand, the top 100 LDO addresses continued adding tokens to their holdings, according to Nansen.

Data showed that over the past seven days, the top 100 LDO addresses increased holdings by 1.26%.

Meanwhile, exchange reserves declined by 0.98% during the same period. This suggested that large holders continued accumulating LDO while exchange supply declined.

In addition, intraday traders appeared to follow the same trend.

CoinGlass showed that $0.42 on the downside and $0.446 on the upside were major Liquidation Levels. These were the levels where traders appeared heavily over-leveraged.

At those levels, traders built $1.66 million worth of long positions and $445K worth of short positions. This indicated that traders expected LDO’s price to maintain its upward momentum.

Solana whale takes a $7.5M bet

During this period of prolonged market weakness, SOL whales have remained extremely calm, further stretching the market. 

However, large market participants have begun to return, especially in the derivatives market. Futures Taker CVD data from CryptoQuant has remained positive this week, suggesting a comeback by buyers in futures. 

It seems those returning to the market are whales. Onchain Lens reported that a whale opened a 78,000 SOL long position with 3x leverage, valued at $7.5 million. This whale’s position has a liquidation price of $36.05. With SOL retracing, the whale’s position is already down $114K. The decision to go long reflects growing optimism, as the trader expects prices to rise further.

This whale is not alone, as derivatives market participation has also surged, with volume up 111% to $14.5 billion and Open Interest (OI) edging higher to $6.3 billion.

Keith Gill, the investor phenomenon known for his involvement in the 2021 GameStop short squeeze, is back in the spotlight due to a suspicious posting of PumpFun tokens on an X account.

The account, which had been silent for about 16 months, became active again and shared a Solana-based PumpFun token contract address, but the post was quickly deleted. Social media users suggested that the account may have been hacked.

GameStop shares experienced sharp volatility following the incident. Shares, which had risen by as much as 13% during the day, erased their gains and fell into negative territory after the aforementioned social media post. Allegations of fraud and “rug pull” circulating on social media caused panic among GME shareholders.

Keith Gill, known by the usernames “Roaring Kitty” and “DeepF***ingValue,” is particularly recognized for his posts on Reddit’s WallStreetBets community. PUMP continued trading directly beneath the critical $0.00220 supply zone after previously breaking out from a symmetrical triangle structure. Price recently reclaimed the $0.00201 support region before climbing toward resistance, showing that buyers regained short-term control after weeks of compression. 

At press time, RSI also climbed toward 64, reflecting strengthening bullish conditions without entering extreme overbought territory. The earlier symmetrical triangle breakout no longer acted as the primary catalyst because price already transitioned into a supply-test phase. 

Traders instead focused on whether PUMP could retest the $0.002012 support level before attempting another breakout above the key supply zone. The projected move from that support toward the $0.003000 target represented a potential 48.66% expansion, according to the chart structure. 

However, losing the $0.002012 level would likely weaken bullish positioning and expose lower support zones again.
