Bitcoin may be entering a phase of selling pressure. After hitting a low near $60,000 on February 5th, the price of Bitcoin consolidated for over two months, slowly climbing to around the $70,000 mark. Meanwhile, the Middle East conflict has driven oil prices well above $100 per barrel, creating significant uncertainty in the macroeconomic situation.

Data from CheckonChain suggests that selling pressure is beginning to ease. Realized daily losses are currently around $400 million, still higher than previous years, but trending downwards in recent weeks.

Data shows that actual losses surged to $2 billion on November 21st and February 5th, reaching levels unseen in years and exceeding those during the 2022 bear market.

CheckonChain stated, "The spot market is shifting from aggressive selling to net buying pressure, with both realized profits and losses declining."

Data from Glassnode also corroborates this trend. Based on a seven-day moving average, daily realized profits are around $300 million, near a twelve-month low. This indicates that investors who bought Bitcoin at $60,000 are now slightly profitable and beginning to take profits.

Ether.fi [ETHFI] has been in a steep downtrend since its rejection at $0.64 three weeks ago, falling to a low of $0.42.

At press time, ETHFI was trading below its MA ($0.44) and EMA ($0.45), underscoring strong bearish momentum. Amid this decline, investors, particularly whales, have largely capitulated, exiting their positions quickly.

After ETHFI climbed to $0.64 on the 21st of March, the altcoin experienced extreme profit-taking, and sellers took over the market. Since then, the altcoin has mostly recorded sell-side activity, as the Spot Taker CVD showed sell dominance for the past three weeks.
