The company was once valued at more than $4 billion. Now, the company sold its intellectual property and other assets to American Exchange Group two weeks ago for $39 million. Furthermore, the stock has slumped by more than 99 per cent since its flotation on Nasdaq in 2021. The footwear creator has seen its financial struggles as of late, closing all of its U.S. full-priced stores in February.Now, Allbirds is transforming into NewBird AI, looking to capitalize on the surging artificial intelligence industry. It announced a deal to raise approximately $50 million in funding, which is expected to close in the second quarter of 2026. “The Company will initially seek to acquire high-performance, low-latency AI compute hardware and provide access under long-term lease arrangements, meeting customer demand that spot markets and hyperscalers are unable to reliably service,” the company said in the announcement. The Ethereum Foundation (EF) has unveiled an aggressive plan to help improve the security of apps across its mainnet. Dubbed the ‘Ethereum audit subsidy,’ the $1 million initiative brings over 20 security providers, alongside Nethermind, Areta, and Chainlink Labs.

Ethereum-based projects of all sizes will be able to access the program. According to the team, the program will enhance the broader Ethereum ecosystem security based on the principles of CROPS (censorship, resistance, open source, privacy, and security).  

Commenting on the program, Areta Market CEO Findlay Boothroyd, said 

A project that cannot defend itself puts every other guarantee at risk, and we designed this program alongside our partners to help close this gap.

The update follows a similar move by Solana Foundation’s STRIDE security program after the $285 million Drift breach. In other words, leading Layer 1 networks aren’t taking security for granted amid surging institutional interest in the sector.

Bitcoin at a Very Critical Junction! According to the Analyst, This Level Will Determine Its Fate: Pump or Dump?

The leading cryptocurrency, Bitcoin ($BTC), has been experiencing a surge in recent days, influenced by the ceasefire talks between the US and Iran.

After rising above $76,000, $BTC, as it has for a long time, encountered resistance and was rejected, falling back to the $74,000 level.

While bullish expectations continue due to $BTC’s recent movements, one analyst has warned of a major drop.

At this point, popular analyst Ali Martinez said that Bitcoin is at a critical juncture.

According to Martinez, Bitcoin has once again tested the 100-day moving average (SMA), which is considered a significant resistance level.

Sharing his latest analysis from account X, the analyst stated that for the third time in the last six months, $BTC has retested the 100-day SMA level on the daily chart as a resistance point.

He added that $BTC absolutely needs to hold the $73,000 level to sustain its upward momentum.

The analyst noted that the market failed to hold this level twice, once in October last year and again in January this year, and said that if it doesn’t break this resistance permanently this time, further declines could occur.

Martinez warned that a failure of the current retest could form a triple top pattern. This pattern could potentially send the Bitcoin price back to its all-time low of $59,000.

Conversely, if $BTC breaks this resistance and establishes a sustained position above the 100-day SMA, the price could rise to the $80,000-$84,000 range, he stated.

Expert Says Ethereum Technically Ready for Bull Rally After Reclaiming Key Moving Average
‬Ethereum could be set for a bull rally, with technical indicators pointing to a critical juncture, according to a prominent market analyst.

In an analysis posted on X, Ali Martinez highlighted that ETH is currently testing the upper resistance line of an ascending triangle formation on the daily chart. The price action is robust, yet the TD Sequential tool is displaying a sell signal. This identical warning preceded a pullback to support the last time the asset traded near $2,400.

Nevertheless, the cryptocurrency has reclaimed its 100-day simple moving average, which the analyst interprets as evidence of solid underlying strength.

Martinez is now focusing on a daily close above $2,480. Such a move would likely invalidate the bearish TD signal and confirm a breakout from the triangle pattern, paving the way for a possible rally toward $2,900.

If Ethereum maintains support above $2,180 and successfully breaches the $2,400 resistance, it could extend gains to $2,750. Should it fail to defend that support, however, a retest of the $2,030 area cannot be ruled out.

Meanwhile, Ethereum is up 6.83% to $2,358.40 over the past 24h, outpacing Bitcoin’s 4.74% gain and a broader market rally, driven by easing geopolitical tensions and strong institutional ETF inflows.

Geopolitical de-escalation hopes and a sharp reversal in ETF flows shifted capital from Bitcoin to Ethereum, with ETH spot ETFs recording their strongest weekly inflows of 2026, totaling $187 million. A risk-on rotation into altcoins, evidenced by a rising ETH/BTC ratio, combined with a surge in on-chain utility, where daily transactions jumped 41% week-over-week.
