1. Project Introduction
The Graph is a decentralized indexing and querying protocol that enables developers to access blockchain data efficiently. Anyone can build and publish open APIs, called subgraphs, which index on-chain data and make it queryable in a fast and reliable way. Applications use GraphQL queries to retrieve data from these subgraphs. The protocol is secured by its native token GRT, which incentivizes and aligns the interests of indexers, curators, and delegators who contribute to network operations and earn fees for their services.

Founded in 2018 by Yaniv Tal, Jannis Pohlmann, and Brandon Ramirez.
Yaniv Tal: Project lead; former software engineer at MuleSoft and HP, founder of TapSavvy and Workflo.
