The crypto market is on edge as the SEC's decision on the first batch of spot Ethereum ETF applications is set to be announced at the end of May. Meanwhile, the London Stock Exchange will launch the trading of Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange traded notes (ETNs) on May 28. Given the news, are you steadfast to go long and go short? HTX is launching the Futures Long vs Short Competition for BTC and ETH, offering an incredible prize pool of $HTX.

The Competition offers a dynamic prize pool - the more participants trade, the larger the prize pool will become.

 

Event Period: 10:00:00 (UTC) on May 22, 2024 - 10:00:00 (UTC) on May 31, 2024

Eligibility: HTX users, such as market makers and API traders.

Applicable Trading Pairs: BTCUSDT and ETHUSDT perpetual futures in cross margin and isolated margin modes (including copy trading)

 

How to Participate:

During the event period, participants who long BTCUSDT and/or ETHUSDT will be automatically divided into the Bull Team, while those who short the designated futures trading pairs will enter the Bear Team. The two teams will battle based on their trading volume and PnL, and win the corresponding share of the prize pool.

 

Total Prize Pool

The event's total prize pool will be the sum of the trading fees generated by the Bull and Bear teams during the event period. The competition will be divided into two sections: trading volume and PnL, each with a prize pool accounting for 50% of the total prize pool.

 

Section 1: Trading Volume

The two teams will be ranked by their cumulative futures trading volume of all team members. The team with the higher trading volume will be the winner.

Section 2: PnL

The two teams will be ranked by their cumulative PnL of all team members. The team with the higher PnL will be the winner.

 

Reward Distribution:

Example: User H performed BTCUSDT and ETHUSDT futures trades, with cumulative long positions of 50,000 USDT and cumulative short positions of 20,000 USDT during the event. When distributing rewards, User H has the chance to share the Trading Volume prize pool for the Bull Team based on the proportion of 50,000 USDT, and win a share in the Trading Volume prize pool for the Bear Team based on the proportion of 20,000 USDT.

 

Terms & Conditions:

• Users need to click Register Now to participate in the event.
• Trading fees paid with futures trial bonuses and contributing to commissions are not counted towards the event.
• Both opening and closing positions are counted towards the trading volume. PnL refers to the realized profit and loss during the event period.
• Rewards can be accumulated and will be credited to winners' HTX accounts in the form of $HTX within 10 working days after the end of the event. The price of $HTX will be calculated based on the price at 00:00 (UTC+8) on May 31, the final day of the event.
• HTX will strictly review and disqualify any participants who show any signs of fraudulent behaviors, such as malicious inflation of trading volume, bulk registration of fake accounts, wash trading, and order matching.
• Sub-accounts cannot be used to participate in this event. Data from sub-accounts will be counted towards their main accounts.
• HTX reserves the right for final interpretation of this event.
