Using passkeys for verification is safer and faster than entering passwords, making it easier to protect your account. Currently, passkeys can be synchronized between iOS and macOS, among Android devices, and across Windows devices.

 

How to Add a Passkey on the HTX App?

• For Android and iOS devices, the system version must be at least iOS 16 or Android 9.
• Log in to the HTX app, go to [Profile], tap [Settings] in the top right corner, tap [Security], and tap [Passkeys].
• Before enabling the passkey, you need to complete 2FA verification.

• Follow the instructions to enable the passkey.
• After enabling the passkey, you can rename it or delete it.
• The maximum number of passkeys allowed is 10.

 

 

How to Add a Passkey on the HTX Website?

1. Currently, passkeys are supported on macOS and Windows, requiring Chrome 108 or Safari 16 and above.
2. After logging in, click on your profile picture in the top right corner and click [Security].

3. On the [Security] page, click [Enable] if you have not added a passkey.
4. If you have not bound 2FA, complete 2FA verification before creating a passkey.
5. Click [Add Passkey] and follow the browser prompts to verify the passkey or complete 2FA verification to add it.

6. After a passkey is created, you can edit its name. You can create up to 10 passkeys.
