Below are the detailed rules for the USDe holding rewards and minting/redemption product.

Product Overview

USDe is a stablecoin issued by Ethena Labs and supported on the HTX platform. On HTX, you can acquire USDe via spot trading, deposits, or minting, and earn rewards through your USDe holdings upon meeting the eligibility requirements.

 

1. Mint or Redeem USDe: Eligible users can mint or redeem USDe on-chain directly via the official HTX page.
2. Earn Rewards by Holding: Simply hold USDe to accumulate rewards, without staking or lock-up. HTX calculates rewards daily and distributes them periodically to eligible users.
3. USDe can also be used for spot trading, deposits and withdrawals, and other compliant product features within HTX.

Eligibility

1. The Product is available only to HTX users who successfully complete KYC verification.
2. Institutional users are eligible to participate.
3. To qualify for rewards, users must maintain a minimum account balance of 0.1 USDe.
4. Users must comply with applicable local laws and regulations to enjoy the Product services. HTX may restrict participation eligibility based on jurisdiction or user status.

Product Period

1. The Product shall become available on the HTX platform from the date of announcement and remain available until further notice.
2. HTX reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Product at any time without advance notice.

How to Participate and Eligible Holdings

How to Participate

You can obtain USDe to earn rewards through any of the following methods:

1. Purchase USDe on the HTX spot market.
2. Deposit USDe to your HTX account.
3. Mint USDe via the official HTX USDe Minting page.

Rewards will begin accruing only after you hold at least 0.1 USDe for more than 24 hours.

 

Accounts Included in Reward Calculation

USDe held in the following accounts will be counted toward rewards:

1. Spot account (including sub-accounts)

Accounts Excluded from Reward Calculation

USDe held in the following accounts or situations will not be counted toward rewards:

 

1. Earn account
2. Third-party custodial accounts such as Fireblocks, BitGo, and Ceffu.
3. Liquidity Boost (formerly OTC Loan) account
4. Other non-Spot accounts

Minting and Redemption Rules

1. Users may mint or redeem USDe using USDT via the official HTX USDe Minting page. Minted USDe will be credited to their Spot account within 120 minutes. HTX will process minting/redemption requests in batches based on volume. Larger transactions may take longer, but will not exceed 120 minutes.
2. Similarly, users may only redeem USDT using USDe. Redeemed USDT will also be credited to their Spot account within 120 minutes.
3. A 0.07% service fee applies to both minting and redemption, equivalent to the fee charged for direct minting or redemption on Ethena. Internal processing gas fees will also be deducted when submitting minting or redemption requests.

Rewards Rules

1. Rewards are calculated daily based on each user’s minimum eligible USDe balance recorded in the prior day’s snapshots.
2. Snapshot Time: Snapshots are randomly taken within the time frame of 00:00 - 23:59 (UTC) each day.
3. Snapshot Period: The reward snapshot period runs from 00:00 (UTC) on the previous Friday to 00:00 (UTC) on the current Thursday.
4. Rewards Distribution: Rewards will be issued in USDe to users' Spot accounts every Saturday between 02:30 and 03:00 (UTC).
5. Reward amounts will be rounded down to 8 decimal places before distribution.
6. Formula:
   Daily reward = Minimum USDe balance in the prior day's snapshots * APY / 365

 

For example, assume you hold 100 USDe in your HTX Spot account from Monday to Tuesday. Subsequently, you sell 50 USDe on Wednesday and hold the remaining 50 USDe until Thursday. In this case, daily rewards for Monday to Tuesday will be calculated based on a 100 USDe balance. Since you sold 50 USDe on Wednesday, daily rewards for Wednesday and Thursday will be calculated based on a 50 USDe balance. The total rewards accumulated from Monday to Thursday will be distributed on Saturday between 02:30 and 03:00 (UTC).

 

Rewards will be automatically distributed with no manual claim required. HTX shall not be liable for any delays or failures in reward distribution caused by network latency, technical issues, or force majeure events, but reasonable efforts shall be made to resolve such issues.

 

Reward distribution records can be viewed under Assets > Earn > Orders in the top right corner. You can also check your total accumulated rewards to date on the USDe page.

 

Important

1. This Product is governed by the HTX USDe Minting and Rewards User Agreement. Please read the agreement carefully before holding USDe on HTX.
2. Digital assets involve market risks. The USDe mechanism, APY, and applicable rules may be adjusted based on market conditions.
3. Before using the USDe minting, redemption, and rewards product, users should fully understand the product rules and assume the associated risks at their own discretion.
4. HTX assumes no responsibility for losses resulting from users' operational errors, account security issues, or violations of platform rules.
