Wyoming's Stable Token Commission has announced the full migration of its state-sponsored digital asset, the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT), to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) as its exclusive cross-chain infrastructure. This move replaces the previous use of Layerzero, following a security review that identified concerns with Layerzero's operational security and disclosure practices. Officials stated CCIP was chosen for its high standards of security, governance, and operational integrity, being the only solution meeting their strict requirements.
