Resumo

The Wyoming Stable Token Commission, the state-issued digital dollar issuer, has migrated the Frontier Stable Token (FRNT) from LayerZero to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP). Under a multi-year agreement, CCIP will become the exclusive infrastructure for the token's cross-chain interoperability, providing data and asset transfer between blockchains. FRNT is the first fiat-collateralized stablecoin issued by a U.S. state authority, designed for payments, settlements, and other government and commercial operations. It currently operates on multiple networks including Arbitrum, Avalanche, Base, Ethereum, Hedera, Optimism, Polygon, and Solana. Initially using LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token standard for multi-chain issuance, the Commission decided to move away from that system following a review of LayerZero's information disclosure and operational security practices. Wyoming has been developing FRNT's multi-chain model since 2023. The shift to CCIP will maintain the token's availability across multiple public blockchains while upgrading the underlying cross-network transfer infrastructure. According to the Commission, this transition aims to enhance operational security as the state expands its use of digital assets.

The commission initially used LayerZero's Omnichain Fungible Token standard to launch FRNT across multiple blockchains simultaneously. After reviewing LayerZero's approaches to disclosure and operational security, the commission decided to abandon this system.

Wyoming has been developing the FRNT multi-chain model since 2023. The move to CCIP will keep the token accessible across multiple public blockchains while replacing the infrastructure for transferring it between networks. According to the commission, this should enhance operational security as the state expands its use of digital assets.

Podcast Notes: A Conversation with Justin Sun - Extreme Loneliness is Also a Form of Freedom Guest: Justin Sun, founder of TRON. Host: Bonnie Blockchain. Podcast Source: YouTube, aired October 14, 2026. Key Summary: Sun warns that the "Quantum Threat Day (Q-Day)" is severely underestimated by Wall Street. A quantum computer or advanced AI could potentially breach the early public keys of Satoshi Nakamoto, threatening approximately 1 million Bitcoin and causing catastrophic impact. TRON is already deploying NIST post-quantum cryptography standards on its testnet. TRON's dominance is reinforced by over $94 billion in USDT circulation (more than half the market), over 400 million real users, and ~500,000 new daily users, creating a network effect "moat" akin to Facebook. It plans to launch tokenized U.S. stocks (like QQQ and S&P 500) in Q4. Sun established a million-dollar "Justin Sun Prize," modeled on bug bounties, to accelerate academic awards in the AI era. It rewards formal proofs of mathematical breakthroughs using systems like Lean, regardless of whether the solver is human or AI. OpenAI has already won one award. Reflecting on investing in the Trump-family project World Liberty Financial (WLFI), Sun states it was a decision made out of necessity ("helpless") with insufficient prior commitments. Sun's childhood, marked by being sent to a Go boarding school in Wuhan at age nine and his parents' subsequent divorce, shaped his worldview that "extreme loneliness is also a form of freedom." This early independence gave him the courage for extraordinary ventures like signing for a moon mission. His high-profile actions—spending $6.2 million on a banana, auctioning a lunch with Warren Buffett, meeting Elon Musk, signing up for space travel—are not marketing stunts but "priceless, ultimate life experiences" he actively seeks.

Morgan Stanley Research Report Analysis: Internet Stock Valuations Diverge, Stock-Based Compensation Impacts Earnings Quality

Morgan Stanley Research Report Analysis: Internet Stock Valuation Diverges, Stock-Based Compensation Impacts Profitability Internet stocks rose overall last week, but valuations among leading companies show clear divergence. Amazon and Meta's valuations (EV/EBITDA) remain below their respective two-year averages, while Alphabet's is already above its own average. The impact of stock-based compensation (SBC) is significant for valuation comparisons. When Morgan Stanley treats SBC as a cash expense, profit multiples rise substantially across several internet sub-sectors. For major companies, Alphabet's multiple increases from 17.1x to 19.6x, Meta's from 12.6x to 15.2x, and Amazon's from 10.1x to 13.8x, highlighting SBC's effect on profitability metrics. Sector performance was uneven. E-commerce and shared economy sub-sectors led gains, while digital advertising and travel saw more modest increases. Some smaller-cap names like Instacart and Reddit posted stronger weekly gains. Overall, the internet sector's future 12-month EV/EBITDA multiple is below its 5- and 10-year historical averages. However, its EV/Sales multiple is above historical averages. This discrepancy between revenue and profit-based valuations relates to underlying profitability. The report underscores that stock-based compensation, while non-cash, represents a real cost that can dilute shareholder equity and impact valuations, making it a crucial factor in assessing internet company profits and investor returns.
