«Думаю, что я был первым человеком, помимо Сатоши, который запустил [ноду] биткоина. […] Я стал получателем первой транзакции, когда Сатоши отправил мне десять монет в качестве теста», — написал тогда программист на форуме Bitcointalk.

В первой транзакции Сатоши отправил десять монет для теста. В течение следующих нескольких дней Финни переписывался с создателем биткоина по электронной почте, помогая в устранении ошибок.

Напомним, 9 октября 2024 года вышел фильм Money Electric: The Bitcoin Mystery режиссера Каллена Хобака, в котором раскрывается предполагаемая личность Сатоши.
