To advance the globalization of Web3 and the metaverse, Huobi is excited to announce that Dominica Metaverse Bound Token (DMBT) is now open for application on Huobi. Going forward, we will promote and expand the scope of metaverse infrastructure projects. We consider this as a vital aspect of Huobi's new global development strategy, marking a solid step in Huobi's journey to becoming a gateway into the Web3 world, as well as leading the integration and development of the metaverse and digital economy.

Dominica Metaverse Bound Token (DMBT) is a digital identity credential launched by Huobi, Tron, and DMC Labs under the authorization of the Dominica government. DMBT is a type of blockchain-based soulbound token with the following features: non-transferable, revocable, and unique.

Application date: Starting from March 21, 2023

How to apply:

1）Verify your identity

Apply for Dominica Digital Identity (DDID) and complete level 3 verification to be eligible for DMBT minting.

2）Connect your wallet

Download the TronLink App and create a wallet on the Tron network. Go to your Huobi App > DMBT page, tap Connect Wallet, and authorize your Tron wallet.

3） Mint your DMBT

Tap Mint DMBT on your Huobi App and pay a minting fee of 1 USDT or HT/TRX equivalent.

If you have not downloaded the TronLink wallet, please click here to download.

All Huobi users who complete the Dominica Digital Identity verification a re eligible to mint DMBT.

To mint a DMBT, you need to pay the on-chain fee, which will be deducted from your Huobi spot account. USDT, HT, or TRX can be used for the payment.

You can view your DMBT on your Tron wallet.

You can revoke the DMBT you have minted, but there will be a 24-hour lockup period afterwards. You can mint a new DMBT after the lockup period.

When claiming Dominica Metaverse Bound Tokens, participants who are found to be involved in any fraudulent behavior, including but not limited to money laundering, account manipulation, and self-trading, will be disqualified. Huobi reserves the right to freeze the cheating accounts, confiscate any gains from the fraudulent behaviors, and impose other penalties as necessary.
