BNB Chain Protocol Manually Liquidates Hacker's $570 Million Exploit for $52.3 Million

The hacker exploited the BSC Token Hub in October 2021 and transferred around 2 million BNB worth $570 million at the time. The Venus community voted in favor of a governance proposal that allowed the BNB Chain core team to manually liquidate the hacker's position to prevent a cascading sell-off event. On August 18th, the attacker's position was manually liquidated for $52.3 million, and the BNB Bridge exploiter account was made healthy without any further impact to BNB.
