According to Coindesk, U.S. Senator Dick Durbin has joined Labor and other Senators Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Tina Smith (D-Minn.) in expressing concern over Fidelity Investments' plan to offer Bitcoin (BTC) as an investment option in its 401(k) managed accounts. The letter, addressed to Fidelity Investments CEO Abigail Johnson, criticises the firm's decision to moonlight with the company's announcement that it will allow investors to include bitcoin (BTC) in their 401(k) retirement plans later this year, with bitcoin holdings capped at 20 per cent of the value of the account.
