ONDO crypto traders are betting big on leverage – Is $0.45 or $0.35 next?

ONDO flipped the $0.4 resistance as Futures activity outpaced Spot trading volume.

Ondo Finance [ONDO] is on the verge of clearing all July losses. The altcoin rebounded from a $0.37 slip, successfully held $0.4, and touched a local high of $0.41.

As of this writing, ONDO was trading around $0.406, after slightly rising by 5.6% on the daily charts. Over the same period, the altcoin’s trading volume surged by 55% to $123 million, indicating growing market participation. 

ONDO Futures outpaces Spot amid high-risk appetite

ONDO’s  price hike, although triggered by a shift in the broader market sentiment, has also seen traders show greater demand for leveraged bets. Trader Sarosh noted that ONDO’s Futures activity remains larger than zSpot. This suggests that traders are willing to take leveraged exposure.

Cantor is advising crypto bank AMINA on path to potential public listingAMINA, a Swiss digital asset bank, said it is working with Wall Street firm Cantor to explore options that might lead to a public listing.

The bank has explored several possibilities, including a SPAC merger, and now favors going public through a reverse takeover of a digital asset treasury company, according to two people familiar with the matter, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the talks are private.

Discussions are ongoing and no final decision has been made on the preferred path forward, an AMINA spokesperson said. An IPO may be on the cards, but the immediate concern is to raise strategic growth capital, they said.SPACs and other vehicles have contacted us. Their primary focus is on a quick stock market listing rather than growth capital. In contrast, we are looking at options that will support AMINA’s strategic growth,” the company spokesperson said in emailed comments.

“We are not currently in discussions with any SPACs or DATs,” they added. “We are in discussions with potential investors. As mentioned, the focus is on strategic growth capital. An IPO could be a logical next step in the future.”Founded in 2018 as SEBA Bank and rebranded as AMINA in 2023, the lender is overseen by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority, FINMA. It is one of a small number of regulated banks focused on digital assets. The company offers crypto trading, custody, staking and lending services to institutional and professional investors, and has expanded into Abu Dhabi, Hong Kong and India.
