The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Cryptocurrency Working Group will meet with early-stage cryptocurrency developers in Miami on January 27.

The SEC Cryptocurrency Working Group will continue its outreach program, visiting Miami to engage with startups and developers.

The working group is seeking feedback to refine digital asset regulation and move towards a clearer framework.

As SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce stated, the SEC Cryptocurrency Working Group will visit Miami on January 27 to directly engage with early-stage cryptocurrency developers.

The working group is dedicated to working with the cryptocurrency industry to develop a clear regulatory framework for digital assets. Currently, the working group is actively visiting various cities to gather feedback from projects on policy reforms.

Under the leadership of Chairman Paul Atkins and Commissioner Hester Peirce, the working group is moving towards a principled framework, rather than relying on litigation as under former Chairman Gary Gensler.
