As interest in tokenizing real-world assets resurges, the XRP community is debating whether gold and silver could soon be brought onto the XRP Ledger.

In a tweet, X user Tyson Weller asked whether gold and silver would ever be tokenized on the XRP Ledger. Phil Kwok, co-founder of EasyA, gave a clear and confident response.

“Tokenized Gold Is Coming to the XRPL”

According to Kwok, tokenized gold is coming to the XRPL, stressing that the impact will be massive. “Tokenized gold is coming to the XRP Ledger, and it’s going to be epic,” he replied.

Meanwhile, Vet, an XRPL validator, pointed out that the technology is already well-suited for tokenized gold and silver. Accordingly, he raised questions about why adoption hasn’t happened at scale yet.

Vet highlighted several advantages of using the XRP Ledger for tokenized metals. These include 24/7 access, fast transfers, and integration with DeFi tools such as automated market makers (AMMs).

He also noted that future features, such as lending and escrow, could make tokenized gold on the XRPL even more attractive.

Market Demand Already Exists

Meanwhile, skeptics questioned whether there is enough demand for tokenized gold and silver. In response, Vet pointed to existing examples in the market. Firms like Paxos and Tether already manage billions of dollars’ worth of tokenized gold and silver, showing that investor interest is real and well established.

From this perspective, the challenge may not be demand, but rather execution and incentives on the XRPL itself.

1月初，美国现货比特币和以太坊ETF在最初几天出现复苏迹象，但随后势头逆转，两类ETF均遭遇大量资金流出。根据SoSoValue的数据，自1月6日以来，美国现货比特币和以太坊ETF的资金流出总额已超过10亿美元。

昨日，现货比特币ETF录得约3.9895亿美元的资金流出，现货以太坊ETF的资金流出额为1.5917亿美元，这是连续第二天出现资金流出。

因此，现货比特币ETF在周二至周四期间累计资金流出约11.3亿美元。现货以太坊ETF也呈现类似趋势，自周三以来约有2.58亿美元的资金流出。这些资金流出完全抹去了1月初的涨幅，表明交易者持谨慎态度。

分析月度资金流向，现货比特币ETF在8月份经历了7.5亿美元的资金流出，随后在9月和10月有所回升。 随后，最大的资金流出出现在2025年11月，金额约为34.8亿美元。同样，以太坊ETF也经历了约14.2亿美元的最大规模资金流出。这些资金流出发生在10月份的大规模市场暴跌之后，当时一场200亿美元的清算事件导致加密货币市场普遍疲软。

The digital asset market is currently navigating the aftermath of one of the most aggressive liquidity shifts in Bitcoin’s history. According to a recent technical analysis by Biraajmaan Tamuly, Bitcoin underwent a definitive "capitulation event" during the final quarter of 2025—a move that likely marks the conclusion of the previous price trend and the beginning of a structural market reset.
The Scale of the Sell-Off
On-chain data reveals that 2025 was defined by unprecedented selling pressure from Long-Term Holders (LTHs). Approximately $300 billion worth of Bitcoin, which had remained dormant for at least one year, re-entered active circulation. This wave of liquidity peaked between November 15 and December 14, 2025, recording a staggering 30-day distribution of 1.14 million BTC.
Unlike the orderly profit-taking observed in previous cycles, the velocity and volume of this movement suggest a forced capitulation. Historically, such sharp declines in LTH supply align with "trend exhaustion," signaling that the market has purged weaker hands and over-leveraged positions.
Stabilization and Technical Indicators
Since the peak of the distribution in December, the market has entered a period of relative equilibrium. LTH supply has stabilized at approximately 13.6 million BTC, and price action has transitioned into a consolidation phase.
A critical metric supporting this "bottoming" thesis is the supply ratio between Long-Term and Short-Term Holders. In December, this ratio plummeted to -0.53. Historically, whenever this indicator falls to -0.5 or lower, it serves as a precursor to a major market pivot. This level typically indicates that the selling exhaustion has reached its limit, leading either to a prolonged bottoming phase or a sharp rebound within
