Switzerland town launches Hedera powered municipal biodiversity voucher systemSwitzerland has launched its first live municipal blockchain project through a biodiversity reward voucher system built on the Hedera network and backed by a Swiss franc-linked digital payment instrument.

According to an announcement shared with crypto.news by the Municipality of Muri bei Bern, the Canton of Bern municipality partnered with Swiss Web3 engineering firm The Hashgraph Group, blockchain developer Swisscoast, and digital transformation company Apps with Love to roll out BIDI, a blockchain-based biodiversity voucher designed to reward residents for participating in conservation work.

stocks, bonds and credit products onto blockchain rails, a new Ethereum-based marketplace backed by Animoca Brands is aiming to turn tokenized assets into something crypto investors can use across decentralized finance (DeFi).

NUVA, developed by Animoca and Nuva Labs, is connecting around $19 billion worth of tokenized real-world assets originating on the Provenance blockchain ecosystem, including private credit and Treasury-linked products tied to Figure Technologies Solutions (FIGR), the blockchain firm founded by former SoFi CEO Mike Cagney.

Tokenized real-world assets have become one of crypto’s fastest-growing sectors. Asset managers and fintech firms view blockchain rails as a way to modernize how financial products are issued, traded and used as collateral. The broader market for tokenized assets could reach trillions of dollars over the next decade, according to multiple industry forecasts.

NUVA was designed as a distribution layer for tokenized assets, allowing them to move beyond closed financial networks and into DeFi markets, giving average retail users access to assets often limited to accredited investors.

It debuts with two flagship products: a Treasury-linked yield vault called nvYLDS, tied to Figure's SEC-regulated stablecoin YLDS with more than $500 million supply, and nvPRIME, a token tied to Figure's $18.4 billion portfolio of home equity lines of credit (HELOCs). While the former gives investors money market yield, the latter offers high single-digit yield — more than 7% currently — that is mostly accessible to institutions and accredited investors in traditional finance.

The 21 Shares Hyperliquid (THYP) ETF was launched and recorded approximately $1.8 million in trading volume on its first day.In the US, spot ETFs have been launched for many altcoins after Bitcoin and Ethereum. One of them is Hyperliquid (HYPE). This ETF is the first of its kind to begin trading for the altcoin named HYPE.

At this point, the 21 Shares Hyperliquid (THYP) ETF was newly launched and recorded a trading volume of approximately $1.8 million on its first day.

Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart stated that the THYP ETF recorded a trading volume of $1.8 million on its first day, indicating a very good performance for a new launch.

He added that this figure is a good level for a typical new ETF launch, but it doesn’t represent an explosive success.

“21Shares THYP recorded a trading volume of $1.8 million on its first day of listing. This is a very solid performance for a first day of trading and a better start than the average ETF launch.”

However, this was not an explosive level of transaction volume.”

While more HyperLiquid-related ETFs are expected to be launched on the market, James Seyffart added that Bitwise’s HyperLiquid ETF will also be launched soon and will be the next example of HYPE.

Bitwise has already launched a European Hyperliquid Staking ETP on the Deutsche Börse Xetra and is preparing to launch a spot HYPE ETF in the US. In addition, Grayscale is also planning to launch a HYPE ETF.

However, Bloomberg ETF analyst James Seyffart noted the fund was initially seeded with about $725K. This capital, provided by the asset manager, ensures sufficient liquidity and smooth trading during the product’s launch.
