Shiba Inu rose 36% to about $0.0000057 on Sunday, adding roughly a billion dollars to its market value in a day, with no announcement or development to account for it.

The token now carries a market cap near $3.4 billion on almost $380 million of daily volume, its highest turnover ranking in months.

Hoskinson Says Cardano Treasury Can Fund $100M+ Ecosystem Growth This Year Despite ADA Decline
Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has argued that the network remains financially strong despite its recent decline in the cryptocurrency market rankings. 

According to him, Cardano’s on-chain treasury continues to generate enough funding to support the ecosystem’s long-term growth. 

Speaking during an interview on The Starting Block, Hoskinson acknowledged that Cardano’s market cap has fallen to around $6 billion, pushing the cryptocurrency out of the top 10 by market value. Nonetheless, he stressed that the network still has sufficient financial resources to fund more than $100 million in ecosystem development this year.

Hoskinson explained that Cardano’s treasury is financed through the blockchain’s economic model, which channels a portion of network revenue and protocol inflation into an on-chain treasury. Through Cardano’s governance system, the community can then vote on how those funds are allocated to support the ecosystem.

According to him, the treasury can finance a budget exceeding $100 million this year. The funding could support a wide range of initiatives, including software development, infrastructure upgrades, research, developer tools, educational programs, and other projects designed to strengthen the Cardano network.

Lido is currently investigating a rebasing miscalculation incident that has resulted in a daily $APR of 2.04% for stETH, lower than the expected 2.15%. This issue arises from a single unaccounted validator deposit of 32 ETH, and Lido has confirmed that no funds are at risk, as detailed in their recent tweet. The broader crypto market is experiencing mixed signals, but Lido’s specific incident highlights operational challenges within protocol mechanics. The miscalculation, attributed to an oversight in the accounting oracle, does not suggest any systemic risk, as confirmed by Lido’s contributors. They have reassured users that all validator balances were double-checked and verified. While the immediate $APR discrepancy may raise concerns among some stETH holders, the assurance that no funds are at risk mitigates potential panic, allowing stakeholders to remain focused on the underlying fundamentals of the protocol. The Lido team is actively working on a resolution, promising a fix in future updates.

Lido has been a significant player in the Ethereum staking ecosystem, providing liquidity through its stETH token. This miscalculation incident is not uncommon in decentralized finance, where protocol operations must rely on accurate reporting from various oracles. Dogecoin ETFs Go Quiet Again After Brief $345K Inflow SurgeDogecoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have returned to a stagnant phase after recording a day of $345,130 in inflow this week. According to recent data from SoSoValue, Dogecoin ETFs saw $0 in daily total net inflow on July 24. The same was seen on July 22 and 23 when $0 was recorded in daily net inflow.

This was not entirely the narrative this week, as Dogecoin saw a day of inflow on July 21 when it recorded $345,130. This marked a brief break from the zero-inflow streak seen since July 6, with all days recording $0 in inflows.

Zero-flow days are not unusual for newer or lesser-volume crypto ETFs, particularly those tracking assets beyond Bitcoin and Ethereum.Dogecoin has crossed $12 million in cumulative total net inflow, despite the lull in inflows. According to SoSoValue, Dogecoin ETFs' cumulative total net inflow stood at $12.12 million as of July 24.Dogecoin is also marking its first positive week of inflows since the week ending June 18, recording a weekly inflow of $345,130.

Dogecoin signals remain mixed At the time of writing, Dogecoin was trading down with the rest of the crypto market, down 0.17% in the last 24 hours to $0.07.
