The claim, made on the April 15 episode of the Jack Neel Podcast, quickly drew pushback from prominent Bitcoin commentators who said Jiang's argument rests on a basic misunderstanding of how the network works. Was Bitcoin A CIA Project? Jiang, a Beijing-based commentator with 2.3 million YouTube subscribers, framed the theory around what he described as a game-theory process of elimination. He said the standard origin story "makes no sense," asking why someone would spend years or even decades developing blockchain technology only to release it to the world for free and then disappear. "First of all is who would have the technology and the expertise to create something like the blockchain. Second of all, you have to ask who would benefit from this blockchain creation. The third question you want to ask is why would they keep it secret?"From there, Jiang argued that the likely candidates were US intelligence and defense agencies, citing the role government-linked institutions played in building foundational internet infrastructure. "Probably the same people who created the internet, probably the same people who created GPS, DARPA, NSA, CIA, probably these guys, he said. In his telling, blockchain would serve two strategic purposes: surveillance and covert financing.

Santiment experts state that conversations on social media platforms and on-chain data indicate that investors are still expecting a major correction. Historically, periods of skepticism often coincide with phases of sustained price increases.

Cardano is already being used by roughly 200 large companies in Germany through agentic AI deployments, even if those firms do not realize the blockchain is sitting underneath their stack, according to Cardano Foundation CEO Frederik Gregaard. The claim, made during an interview with Jane King on GBBC’s Markets on Chain series from the New York Stock Exchange published April 16, points to a version of blockchain adoption that is less visible to end users but potentially more embedded in enterprise infrastructure.

200 German Companies Use Cardano Without Even Knowing It

Gregaard framed the Cardano Foundation’s role as pushing blockchain into systems people use without necessarily recognizing it. “We have about 200 companies in Germany who live on agentic AI, fairly large companies, and they don’t even know they’re using Cardano as a security layer, as a digital identity layer and as an accountability layer,” he said. “Part of when you have, for instance, agentic AI who’s using data from two different databases, [is] ensuring that the agentic AI is who they say they are, that they have the data they claim without disclosing it, because we want privacy.”

That argument was central to Gregaard’s broader pitch: blockchain, in his view, is becoming an underlying trust and coordination layer for AI-driven systems rather than simply a rails story for tokens or payments. He described a model where users could interact with seamless consumer applications while Cardano handles provenance, identity and compliance in the background. An analysis of the 4-hour chart calls for greater concern about Monad, as a triple top appears to have formed. A string of price developments in the past few days led to this structure, which, from a price standpoint, does not look too good for near-term trends.
The first top started forming on April 10, after a high of $0.0373. The coin consolidated around this area and then tried another breakout the next day. However, MON peaked at $0.0369, completing the first top formation.

After a wave of sideways price trends, MON attempted to break higher again. It peaked at $0.0374 on April 14, forming the second top. Prices were rejected around the same level, and Monad trended lower but tried again a few days later.

On April 16, it rallied again to an intraday high of $0.0375. The token met strong selling supply again and still couldn’t overcome it. From the high, Monad has dropped 10% to its current price level.

Triple tops suggest that an asset has not gained sufficient price momentum to forge ahead to higher prices. Repeated attempts to break above a resistance area have been met with strong rejection, and most of the time, the coin retests lower levels.
