Representative Sheri Biggs of South Carolina has disclosed a purchase of up to $250,000 in Bitcoin exposure.

Representative Sheri Biggs of South Carolina has disclosed a purchase of up to $250,000 in Bitcoin exposure via the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), marking one of the largest single Bitcoin-related buys by a sitting member of Congress. 

The Periodic Transaction Report filed with the House shows a transaction in the $100,001–$250,000 range executed on March 4, 2026 and reported in mid‑April, in line with disclosure deadlines under the STOCK Act.

The trade places Biggs among Congress’s most aggressive adopters of Bitcoin investment products, a cohort that already includes Senator David McCormick and Representative Brandon Gill, who have collectively reported hundreds of thousands of dollars in Bitcoin ETF purchases over the past year. 

Biggs has previously been identified by crypto advocacy groups as strongly supportive of digital assets, and her latest filing underscores how lawmakers are increasingly gaining direct financial exposure to the sector they help regulate.

The move comes as BTC trades below recent highs but remains a central focus of Washington’s ongoing debate over digital asset regulation and potential federal Bitcoin reserve policy.

Ripple highlighted this in a recent press release. The company explained that the end of the SEC case removed a major obstacle that had kept large investors cautious for years. Before this, institutions mainly gained exposure through OTC desks and private deals that stayed out of the spotlight.

According to Ripple, one of the earlier changes came when the SEC introduced new listing rules for crypto exchange-traded products. For context, these rules reduced approval timelines from 240 days to about 75 days.

Despite this, $XRP had additional requirements. It needed six months of activity in regulated futures markets, which began in March 2025 when Bitnomial launched $XRP futures. By May 2025, CME-listed $XRP futures reached $1 billion in open interest faster than any previous crypto futures product.

For something that’s still the second-biggest asset in the space, this chart could end up looking seriously undervalued if it keeps holding this structure.

That said, price still feels like it’s in a mid-bear rally, and I’m not trying to get caught on the wrong side if we see another 20–30% downside from here.

My approach is to deploy a solid chunk of capital and DCA over a few months, but only if price comes back into the blue zone on my cloud that’s where I see real accumulation.

This would be a medium to long-term hold with a very asymmetric setup. Even a move back to the upper boundary gives around a 12RR.

Definitely one I’ll be coming back to in a few years.

Spot Bitcoin ETFs attract nearly $1B in weekly inflows as risk sentiment improves

Spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded nearly $1 billion in net inflows over the past week, marking their strongest performance in more than three months as market sentiment shifts toward risk assets.

Data from SoSoValue shows that spot Bitcoin ($BTC) ETFs attracted $996 muillion in total net inflows last week, the highest weekly intake since early January, when inflows reached about $1.4 billion.

Friday saw $663.9 million in inflows, the strongest single-day performance of the week. Earlier gains included $411.5 million on Tuesday and $186 million on Wednesday, followed by a more modest $26 million on Thursday. The period began with a $291 million outflow on Monday.

Total net assets across spot Bitcoin ETFs climbed above $101 billion by Friday, alongside a sharp increase in trading activity, with daily volumes nearing $4.8 billion.
