Cardano Enters Demand Zone That Could Trigger the Next Bullish Leg as TVL Hits 13-Month High

Cardano (ADA) has recorded a massive increase in its Total Value Locked (TVL) to the highest level in 13 months. Amid this surge, bullish forecasts around ADA have emerged, with analysts noting that the token has entered a key demand zone and could be on the verge of a breakout rally. At press time, ADA traded at $0.255, up 2.93% intraday. Trading volumes were up 20% to $535 million, according to CoinMarketCap data.

Data from DeFiLlama show that Cardano's TVL has increased to 545 million ADA, the highest since late January 2025. This surge often shows that more users are locking ADA tokens on the blockchain to handle transactions. Therefore, this increase could reduce ADA's supply on exchanges and trigger a price gain if demand also rises.

Per the DeFiLlama chart above, the growth started in late February. On February 27, the TVL stood at $435 million, indicating that it has grown by over 120 million ADA in less than two weeks. If the trend continues at the same pace in the coming weeks, a bull run could commence.

At press time, XRP trades at $1.35, with its daily trading volume having surged by over 62.6% to $1.89 billion. Besides, the market has seen a $3.77 million liquidation of XRP.

XRP's four-hour timeframe is ruled by bears, and the price might slip to the key support range at around $1.32. If the downside correction intensifies, the death cross could emerge and send the price toward $1.29 or even lower.

On the flip side, with the bulls reclaiming their lost ground, the XRP price could climb to the $1.38 level. A move toward $1.41 or above would bring in further gains. With the upside pressure strengthening, the golden cross might form.

Shiba Inu staged a sharp recovery on Tuesday, climbing to an intraday high of $0.00000575. The rebound follows a week of consecutive losses that dragged the token to a low of $0.00000522. At the time of writing, SHIB traded at $0.00000572, up 5.17% in the past 24 hours. The move caught bearish traders off guard, triggering a wave of forced liquidations across the derivatives market.
The broader crypto market mirrored the recovery. Risk appetite returned as traders reassessed recent sell-offs. Major tokens gained ground alongside SHIB, pointing to a market-wide shift in short-term sentiment.
Data from CoinGlass reveals that Shiba Inu recorded $48,260 in total liquidations during the rally. Short positions dominated the losses. Of that figure, $38,680, equivalent to 6.3 billion SHIB, came from short liquidations. Long liquidations accounted for just $9,580.

The imbalance is stark. Traders who had bet against SHIB were caught unprepared as prices reversed. This pattern extended beyond SHIB. Across the entire crypto market, $327 million in positions were liquidated. Short positions made up $200 million of that total, confirming that bearish bets were broadly unwound during Tuesday's price surge.

SHIB has now fully reversed its weekly losses. The token is up 8.02% over the past seven days, erasing the damage from three straight weeks of price declines.
