Addressing the disconnect, Vet explained that $XRP’s price action is largely influenced by macroeconomic conditions rather than developments within the $XRP ecosystem itself.

He noted that price movements remain outside the control of builders and contributors as external market forces continue to dictate short-term trends across crypto markets. In contrast, what the community can control is the steady improvement of the network’s utility and infrastructure.

According to him, this creates a divergence where price may lag even as the overall value of the network increases

The rally comes amid growing optimism over a potential de-escalation in geopolitical tensions involving the US, Israel, and Iran. Reports suggest that US Vice President JD Vance indicated meaningful progress in negotiations, stating that discussions with Iran have advanced and that the “ball is now in Tehran’s court,” with expectations of potential movement toward opening the Strait of Hormuz.
The positive developments triggered a broad rebound across the crypto market, adding roughly $100 billion to total market capitalization. Several altcoins even outperformed Bitcoin during the move.
Beyond geopolitics, analysts also point to extreme bearish positioning as a key driver behind the rebound. Market sentiment had remained depressed for an extended period, with Bitcoin funding rates recently falling to deeply negative levels—historically conditions that often precede sharp upside moves.
According to analysts, including Jamie Coutts from Real Vision, the market had entered a phase of “excessive pessimism,” suggesting that a relief rally was increasingly likely.
As sentiment resets and macro uncertainty eases, Bitcoin’s next move will likely depend on whether risk appetite and capital inflows continue to strengthen.

According to CoinMarketCap, Bitcoin Cash price is currently revolving around $455.74 with an impressive market capitalization of around $9.12 billion. The daily trading volume also jumped by around 18.52%, reaching $287.63 million.
